Training Camp 1940

As the hills roll by you here the loud sound of screeching brakes as you fall onto the man beside you. "Sorry Sir" you shout out as the loud sound of the train brakes deafens you. The train comes to a halt just outside a camp located an hour outside of London. As you walk out of the train you hear a loud, deep voice bellow "All right men this is going to be your home for the next two months so you better get comfy."

As you walk with the other men you notice the camp is surrounded by snipers, barbed wire and searchlights.

"So much for a warm welcome" the man next to you jokes, just then three huge Spitfire fighter planes fly overhead startling you.

You reach the camp entrance where the Senior Officer introduces himself, "Good afternoon Gents i am Cpt.Williams I will be your Commanding Officer until your training is finished , As I speak you are being handed your outfits" He points to the men carrying some baggy uniforms "Once you recieve your kits you will be broken up into four groups, each group will follow one of the Sargents to your bunks"

The Captain starts to walk away but quickly turns around and beckons "And dont forget dinner is at the mess hall at 1700 hours sharp" and with that he marches off...
