Chapter 1: The Park

Me and my best friend cassie have been friends for 3 years now.

Cassie!!!!!, i yelled. She was spinning the tilt a whirl and jumped on. She started to laugh and i laughed too. Vada, lets go to the ice cream shop after okay, she said. Sure, I said. We were at the park for about two hours. After that we went to the ice cream parlor. We hung out there for about an hour. We went home after that. Bye Cassie, I yelled to her. Bye!!, she yelled back. I walked onto my porch and saw a note on the front door. It read,

          Dear Vada, your mom and I went to your aunt heather's house for the next 2 days. Please be careful and don't burn down the house while we are gone.

They went to aunt heather's house without me like always. Well I guess I'm home alone for the next 2 days. I walked in the house then up the stairs to my room. I walked over to my closet and put on my little mix tshirt. I turned on my radio and like a virgin by madonna was on the radio. That was my moms favorite song. I changed the radio station to 96.5. Don't Stop by 5SOS was on. I started to dance then my phone rang. It was my dad. I sent him straight to voicemail. He txted me saying, Goodnight baby girl we love you. Of course I didn't txt him back. It was only 10:30 at night. I went to bed at 12.
