Chapter 16~ Relief

I headed to Kookie's room and there I saw doctors and nurses rushing to his room.

"Y/n we're losing Kookie," I held his hand tightly and patted his head. I want to assure him that Jungkook's going to be fine but I personally don't know what will happen...

I pray to God that whatever will happen to him, at least keep him safe. I wanted to tell Tae that he isn't the only one who's losing hope, I am too. I started wondering if he'll ever wake up, or if he'll get better.

A couple of hours past and Tae fell asleep on my shoulders. The doctors and nurses came out. One of them approached us, so I elbowed Tae waking him up.

"You two are like Jungkook's guardians right?"

"You can say that I guess..."

"Okay so don't worry about him, it's nothing serious or anything. He just had a little complication but now he's fine. He might wake up now or tomorrow who knows but let him rest. He needs it." The doctor walked away and Taehyung's mom scolded him for being out late. I waved Tae goodbye and went to Kookie's room.

The faint scent of medications is making me dizzy and all the tubes around Kookie are scaring me. How can his petite body handle all his medication? One needle shot and I'll faint.

I approached his bed and got a stool to sit beside him. I stroked his hair multiple times and held his hand tightly.

"Jungkook, don't ever pull a stunt like that! I don't care if you're asleep, I just wanted to let you know how worried me and Tae are for you. Do you know how painful it is to witness someone you love leave you like that?! It's really painful Kookie. Everyone is always leaving me, mom, dad, Namjoon, Yoongi, halmeoni, and Jimin..."I held his hand tightly and kissed his forehead. I got up from my stool and tried to make my way to the door but someone gripped my hand tightly.

"I'm so sorry Noona for making you feel like that, but please don't blame yourself for the unfortunate events that occurred," I started tearing up and fell on his arms," It's not your fault."

"Kookie how long have you known that you have schizophrenia?"

"When I was really young...Jin would always tell dad that I talk to myself all the time and start getting agitated."

"Kookie I'm sorry for not being with you sooner," he hugged me tightly and patted my head," It's not your fault. You encountered some traumatizing events so it's fine."

"Kookie..." He didn't let me finish my sentence due to the fact he planted his lips on mine. It was so intense and I don't sense any lust but passion instead. I didn't hold back and kissed him back. For a good 3 minutes, we both pulled away.

"Y/n will you give me a chance?"
