The first three periods fly by and soon I am sat in recess, unfamiliar faces surround me as I glance around nervously at my tutor class.

A tap on my shoulder makes me look around and my eyes fall on a small petite girl with long caramel hair. "You're the new girl, aren't you?" She asks with a tilt of her head. I nod and give her a small smile. "Well, I'm Mina, nice to meet you Honey." She grins and sticks out a pale hand, I shake it with a bow and soon we are chatting away. She talks about her family and I tell her a little bit about my past in the UK and why me and my mother moved back to Korea.

Recess ends soon and students hurry out of the room to the lunch hall. "Friends?" Mina asks me, I nod eagerly, it will be helpful to have a friend to help me around this new school. It is a huge place, by the way! She gives me a cute wave before slipping out of the room and joining the swarm of students. Grinning to myself, i quickly pack up my books and shove them into my backpack.

I rush out the door and start to weave through the large crowd, the halls are filled with chattering students, most are taller than me and my short height. I can tell some people purposely knock my shoulder, testing the new girl's patience. I simply ignore them and reach my locker finally. I shove my whole bag into it and close it shut. I reach into my blazer and pull out the map of the school, making my way to the lunch hall as quickly as i can.

I am literally starving.

As i enter the canteen, all heads swivel my way, i hesitate to walk forward but i eventually do and force my head down as i walk to the queue for food. I grab a tray and pick out my food, i turn corners and weave around tables trying to spot out a spare seat or empty table.

A tap on my shoulder makes me turn, i grip my tray tightly but clearly not tight enough as the person flips my tray up and the food splatters all over my white blouse, luckily it misses my horrified face.

My jaw drops open in shock, i look up and see the one and only mean girls earlier from my math class, the main bitch flicks her slick brunette hair over her shoulder and sneers down at me.

"You should watch where you're going, new girl." Her two lackeys giggle and she snorts, giving me a smirk before walking past me and bumping my shoulder on the way. The other two girls trail behind her and give me sweet fake smiles. I groan, schools were never this bad in Britain, everyone was nice there. The whole canteen erupts into giggles and whispers, save a few tables, one of which i see Mina sat at, she simply gives me a sad smile.

I don't return it though as i spin on my heel and call out. "You should watch your manners!" The brunette girl turns and glares at me, her dull brown eyes boring into mine.

The whole canteen falls silent, i guess no one has ever stood up to this bully. But hell no was i gonna let her get away with what she just did. "The hell did you just say? You think you are so cool, don't you? Just because you are new and all the talk and gossip is about YOU, doesn't mean you can push me around like some doll!" She screeches, a sound like nails on a chalk board.

"Push you around? Push YOU around! Oh sweetie, i wouldn't dare. Would i!" The sarcasm drips from my voice, leaving her gobsmacked and gaping like a fish out of water. "Whats that, cat got your tongue?" A smirk makes its way onto my face. She snarls and spits rude words at me, i just ignore her though and make my way out of the canteen and away from everyone's shocked stares.
