14 | Danger

•Honey•

The uncomfortable sensation of panic settles in my stomach as R and Ji Hun stride towards us.

"Honey! Let's go!" Jungkook whisper yells, grips my arm and tugs me up. I snap out of my initial shock and race behind the others. R and his assistant, then Ji Hun, see us instantly as we pop up from behind the bush, they yell loudly and hop a small gate to come after us.

My hand is securely within Jungkook's but my legs aren't as long as the guys'. I struggle to keep up. My heart is pumping rapidly in my my chest and I can hear it in my ears. The muscles in my legs and arms are screaming at me already.

With heavy breaths, we skid round the main building of the school. Luckily no one is inside the classrooms to see us fly past the dirty windows.

I can hear the heavy three sets of footsteps directly behind me, and Ji Hun shouting profanities as loudly as he can.

We sprint through the empty school car park, our feet smacking the concrete at a fast pace.

"HONEY BALLAD ILL KILL YOU." I hear Ji Hun roar with a wheezy voice, my heart drops as I realise he is directly behind me, if he could reach out and grab my hair I would be toast.

I can see Hoseok and Jimin rushing ahead, their fight or flight taking full effect as they almost forget me and Jungkook purely out of survival. My legs struggle to match the pace of Jungkooks and I can tell he would be the fastest here if he weren't holding back for me.

That thought makes me feel guilty. This is all my fault. We shouldn't have even come!

Following Jimin's lead, we have already left the school grounds, and any hope of getting in Hoseok's car, and we are now sprinting towards the main town, down a long narrow, stone street that no cars are allowed on.

I hear one set of footsteps fade behind me and I realise R's assistant has given up and stopped running from exhaustion. I can feel myself begin to do the same as my pace slows and my legs become jelly.

With the loss of control in my legs, I fatally trip on a small curb and fly forward at such speed that I smash into an oncoming wall corner. I cry out as my shoulder smacks painfully into the hard stone.

Jungkooks grip in my hand is lost suddenly as he struggles to stop himself and come back for me. He shouts for Jimin and Hoseok who are far ahead of us, almost to the safety of the trees and field, past some houses, we were aiming for.

My arm is grabbed roughly and I am yanked back into who I can only assume is this R guy. "Gotcha!" He cackles like a witch as he shoves me into the wall again and pushes my face into the stone, scratching my skin roughly.

I hiss loudly, staring bewildered up at his crooked face.

I see Jungkook come into view as he goes to tackle R but is hit in the side by Ji Hun.

R kicks my legs out from under me, still holding my wrists together in an iron grip, and I crumble to the ground. I twist my body painfully to avoid my head being smashed into the concrete.

"Jungkook!" I cry out as R straddles me with his crushing weight and yanks my hair, pulling my head back. He smirks at me, and I whimper pathetically.
