1) Back In The Dating Game P1

I'm in in the living room, Just playing my guitar.

"Dad, When are you going to date again?" My 16-year old daughter Mitchie suddenly asked.

"I mean, You've been single since mom left. Besides, You seem a bit lonely." She adds.

"Honey, I appreciate your concerns, but i'm not focus on dating right now." I told her.

"I know. But, I just hate seeing you alone." She admits.

"Awwww, Honey. I got you, And i'm okay with being single." I said.

"Are you sure, Dad?" She asked me.

"Yea, I'm sure. I have to go to work, but we'll continue this later, okay?" I told her.

"Okay. Love you, Bye." She replied, giving me a hug.

"Love you too, Bye." I said, kissing her cheek then head off to work.

*At work*
All day, I did paperwork and once i finished, I went to take my lunch break at the McDonald. 

While i'm enjoying my lunch, My soundcloud was playing 'Out Of Town Girl' by my good friend Drew.

As the song plays, I spotted a latin girl with curve, beautiful brown eyes and pretty smile. Wow, She is beautiful!

But despite her being absolutely beautiful, I'm not sure if i'm ready to break down these walls for any girl yet. Especially after.....my ex camilla.

"Dude, At least try to talk to her!" A voice spoke beside me so I looked and it turned to Drew.

"Oh. Hey, Drew. What's up?" I greeted, giving hima bro hug.

"Uh, Just waiting for Selly. You?" He says.

"Uh, I'ma bout to head home later." I told him as he nods.

While Drew & I are chatting, Two girls walking towards us.

"Hey, Babe. Hi, Joseph." Selena greets, giving Drew a kiss on the cheek then gave me hug.

"Hey, Selena." We said, at the sane time while smiling.

"Oh. Demetria!" Selena says as she called her friend over to us.

"You remember my good, close friend, Joseph. Right?" Selena introduced.

"Uh, Yea." Demi replied.

"Hi. Joe, Nice to see you again." Demi greeted, shyly.

"Uh......Same with you.

"Hey, Joe, I was...uh...wondering if you...uh... wanna hang out tomorrow after work?" She stutter.

"Um.......Can you please excuse me and my friends real quick?" I asked as she nods.

I took the lovebirds with me to my job so we can have a talk.

"Hey, What are you two doing?" I asked.

"What do you mean, Joe?" Drew asked.

"Gee. It looks like you two are trying set me up with Demi." I guessed.

"Okay, That's exactly what it looks like. But, Come on! You can't stay single forever. I mean, I'm certain once you two hang out, You might see that Demi's actually sweet girl, And who wouldn't like or wanna hang out with her?!" Selena said.

"That's true, But....."

"No buts. Dude, I get that you're afraid of falling in love after what happened with your ex. But, There's no reason for you to reject want her accompany." Drew advised.

"And you'll never know, Unless you give it a try." Selena added.

"I guess you guys are right." I gave in as the 3 of us walked back to Demi.

"Uh.....Sure, Demz. I'd liked to hang out." I answered, already nervous.

"Really?" She ask as i nodded.

"Cool. Uh, See you tomorrow. Bye, guys!" Demi replied, hugging us goodbye then left.

"Well, I gotta go home, But see you guys tomorrow!" I said, giving them a hug then went home.

*At my house*

"Mila, I'm home!" I said, entering the house.

"Hi, Daddy! How's work?" She asked, giving me a kiss on the cheek as I joined her in the dining room.

"Uh, Good. See, My co-worker Selena tried setting me up with her friend Demi, And my friend Drew was all for it." I explained.

"Awwwwww, What else happened?" She cooed

"Yea, Well. They tried convincing me to hanging out with Demi after work tomorrow." I finished.

"Well.........Are you going to do it?" She asked.

"Yea, I guess." I replied, nodding my head as she attacked me with a bear hug.

"Awwwwwwww, I'm so happy for you, Daddy!!!!!!!!"

"Now, sweetie, we're just two people hanging out as friends. It's not like we're going on a date." I explain.

"I know, But i'm just really happy that you're finally out there. I mean, I just hate seeing you alone, And let's not to forget, you've been single since mom left." She admits.

"Like i said mila, we're just two people hanging out as friends, that's all." I stated as I kissed her forehead and went to bed.
