28) I Don't Wanna Jinx It

*Next morning*

It was 4 or 5 in the morning so I looked over my shoulder to face Demi curled up on the other side of my of bed.

Holy sh- I f**** my f******* co-worker!!!!😮😮😮😮😎

I go out of bed and do my morning routine.

Once i was ready for work, I went to check if Mitchie's in her room or not.

And thankfully, she wasn't there. So, I went to the kitchen made us breakfast.

Once i finished making breakfast, I put the apple-cinnamon pancakes on Demi & I's plates.

I also put the bacon, sausage, taters and eggs on it. I put both two cup of juice and maple syrup.

"Ahhhh!!!!!" I heard loud yawn which belong to Demi Monroe as she walks in, looking like a sleepy hot mess.

"Hey." She greets, still feeling a bit tired.

"Good morning, How was your sleep, grumpy!" I joked, laughing as she stick the middle finger at me.

"Um. I'm making apple-cinnamon pancakes with bacon, sausage, taters, eggs and juice. You want some?" I offer as she shook her head 'no'.

"Um, I'll...uh...uh...see you at work, okay?" She asked as she rushed to work so i went back to eating my breakfast.

Once I was done, I wished my dishes and rushed out to my car and drive to work.

*At work*

Things got a little unease for me and Demi at work during break time. But the embarrassing part is our other co-workers/friends Kevin, Nick, Selena, Drew, Miley & Vanessa noticed it as well.

During lunch break, Joe keep eyeing my direction, making me get alittle self-conscious.

"Hey, Demetria. What's up with you and Joe?" Selena asked.

"Wait, What?" I said.

"You and Joe seem a bit jumpy, Is there a reason why?" Miley said.

"Uh, Yea. Um...we...uh....

"You two what?"

"We...uh...uh...uh...uh...uh....You know." I stutter nervously.

"Did y-" Miley said but stopped at her mid sentence by acting a bit silly.

"But it's whatever! We're friends, that's all we're gonna be." I stated, feeling embarrassed.

"There's nothing to be embarrassed bout, Dem. Cause it seems like you're hypnotized by him. Like i don't know maybe by his sense of his humor, his eyes, his laugh, his smile, his singing, his heart & personality." Vanessa pointed which made me daydream.

"You sure bout that you're not Burnin' Up for him, alright!" Selena joked.

"Oh. You shouldn't be talking, Selena! We all know you got the feves for the Biebs!" I comebacked.

"Ooooooooh!" Miley & Vanessa laughed.

"Nessa, Don't get me started with you finally found what I've been looking for...which is Zac Efron!" Selena teased, making Vanessa blush like a tomato.

"Okay, Okay!" Vanessa give in, still blushing.

"Oh, Don't think we forget you, Miley! Cause, I remember you saying Liam could be the one or even better yet, you used to call Nick your prince charming as he'd say to you hello, beautiful when you two were absolutely inseparable before the storm and I bet you that he's still in love with you." I come backed as she just looked down, shyly smiling when being reminded by her past with Nick.

"Okay. You maybe right bout the 3 of us. But, you definitely prove our point bout liking him. And like nessa said, 'There's nothing to be embarrassed bout.' Miley advised.

"And besides, I'm sure he feels the same." Vanessa added as Selly & Miley nod.

"You think so?" I asked.

"We know so!" Selena, Miley & Vanessa corrected, saying it at the same time.

Drew, Kevin, Nick & I headed to my office and I told them that happened between me and Demetria.

"Okay, I'll admit I am fond of Demi & the times we'd spent." I admit

"There you go, Nothing's holding you back!"

"Yea, But........" I doubt, stopping at my mid-sentence.

But what?" Drew asked as I sigh.

"I'm not sure if I'll ever faith in love or restart." I doubted.

"Dude, It's okay if you're still feeling a type of way bout your ex. But that doesn't mean if Demi's gonna be like that." Nick reasoned

"He's right, Joe. I mean, You two has been showing obvious sign of liking towards each other since the day we met Demi." Kevin added.

"Let's not forget, You even agreed with Selly bout how Demi's impossible to dislike and not wanna hang out with. So if you actually thought that bout her & you're really fond memories of the times you two have had like you said, Then you put those thoughts in action. And who knows, maybe she feels the same." Drew added.

"Really?" I question.

"Really." They replied as I got up and leave my office to find Demi so they followed.
