Shortly, maybe not even two minutes later, a knock was heard and Jesy opened the door with a sleepy Amelia on her lap. Jade went to them, Perrie still out of the little girl's vision, and as soon as the blonde little angel saw her mummy, she squealed and lifted her arms in an unspoken request for her mum to hold her. Which Jade immediately did.

"Hi, angel! Have you been good for your aunties?" The two-year-old nodded sleepily, "Yes!" Jesy stood by the door confirming what the little girl had said, a sad smile resting on her face. Jade turned to look at her daughter again and held her close to her chest as the little girl nuzzled her head on the crook of her neck and wrapped her legs around her mother's stomach as good as she could due to Jade's prominent bump. Jade felt at peace having her blonde, hazel-eyed little girl there. She pressed a kiss to the young girl's head.

"Good girl! You want to see mam?" Jade was unsure how her daughter didn't give herself whiplash with how fast she moved her head to look at her mum. "Mam? Mam here?" Her eyes sparkled and it brought tears to Jade's eyes. Jade had psyched herself to be strong because she simply could not and would not break down in front of her little angel.

"Mummy, no cry!" her daughter's worried voice brought her back to reality and she tried to blink her tears away, "Mummy is not crying baby, I promise".

The child seemed to believe it, "Mam?" Jade nodded and turned to head further inside the room as Jesy left them alone. "Mam is asleep, okay? She is very tired, but you can talk to her, she'll listen okay?" She softly told her daughter, who couldn't understand the state her mam was in. She put the little girl in the bed next to Perrie and Amelia sat herself on top of Perrie's lower stomach, her legs on either side of her body and soon the little girl couldn't shut up, "Mam! Mam I miss yous! Very very very much. Why you gone? I love you, mam. This much," she spread her arms apart as far as she could, something that made Jade smile and let a tear free itself from her right eye.

They always did this before every Little Mix show, all three of them, it had become Perrie's and Jade's good luck ritual. Amelia turned to Jade, "Mam asleep? No wake up?" she asked, her face full of curiosity. Jade shook her head, "No baby, she can't wake up, but you can give her kisses and hug her, okay?" The little girl nodded and did as her mummy told. Reaching forward she pressed a kiss to her mam's forehead, and soon she snuggled into Perrie's side. Jade seemed to understand what her daughter wanted to do, "Nap time, baby angel?" The small child nodded, and looked expectantly at her mother, "Song?" Amelia's request nearly broke Jade's heart. It was always Perrie that sang for them. Every single time they put Amelia to sleep, she would always sing a bit of a song. "Okay, baby. I will". The little girl closed her eyes.

Jade thought about which song to choose and one of their old songs immediately crossed her mind. It was sad and heartbreaking, but that was how Jade was feeling at that moment. Trying her best not to cry, she sang to lull her daughter to sleep.

"I feel so numb

Staring at the shower wall

It's begun,

The feeling that the end has come

And now the water's cold

I tried to eat today

But the lump in my throat got in the way

In this time I've lost all sense of pride
