Chapter 8

The next morning I woke up to a pounding headache , feeling extremely uncomfortable I shot up only to see I was sleeping on couch with Jay's body on the ground in a sitting position while his head is near my feet .

I slowly moved my feet away from his head and got up as easy as I could making sure not to wake him . I tiredly sauntered to the kitchen rubbing my eyes when I heard Sade's voice , " Morning sleeping beauty come help me , we are going to the beach today. "

I forget my headache for a quick second jumping with joy but then it came faster than it left , almost giving me whiplash . My hands instinctively shot to my head and I groaned in pain ,"That sounds great but can I get a pain killer first? "

"Bathroom second cabinet." she directed .

After popping the pill I decided to brush my teeth with the toothbrush I brought and washed my face with my morning cleanser .

I went back to the kitchen and helped prepare sandwiches , soon Jay woke and came to assist . Within an hour we were all ready . Jay got a towel and trunks (male bathsuit pants) from his apartment and Sade and I changed into our bathsuits.

I wore my new red bathsuit and realising it was a little too exposing si I pulled on my tommy's jacket over it. I applied some sunblock , packed my bag and then we all left for the beach .

When we arrived instead of going to the beach straight away we walked around the board walk.

"It's really beautiful here today! " Jay said looking deep into the ocean and I nodded in response .

After a good few minutes of walking around we decided to return to the beach where found a good spot on the sand .

Soon I became more comfortable so I took my jacket off and separated myself from the others and went back to the board walk .

I stopped when I found the perfect look out spot and just as I was going over , a man took the space . " Excuse me but I was going there so can you... like move!" I sassed .

The male turned around and my eyes widened .

It was the stranger from the club last night .

I tried my hardest not to stare at his tattoos and muscular built but it was almost impossible , just so alluring . I definitely had a thing for tattooed men and he was the whole package .

"Stalking me , are you ? " He asked and I know heard his beautifully laced accent , It was a mix of Brazilian & English .

"Are you from Brazil or London by chance ?" I unintentionally blurted out , a small smirk came across his face " Both " he simply stated leaving me confused .

That means he's mixed with two descents . Damn that's sexy .

"What is your name ?" he asked calmly

"Why would I tell you such personal information? "

He let out a cute deep chuckle , "Guess I will call you stalker girl. "

I shoy him a hateful glare before giving in " Cylus , and yours "

"Stephen " he bluntly replied .

"Anyways I have to go " he said turning around when he suddenly stops " May we meet again " His last words caused me to blush turning a terrible red colour .

The day quickly flew by . After the encounter with Stephen I returned to my friends and we all took a dip into the icy water and left .

I am currently on Sade's couch updating my report for work with my legs on Jay's lap while he is watching tv . Jay and I really hit it off , well as friends , he seems like a nice guy but I think I need a not so nice guy now , cause literally all the nice guys end up meeting my sister and leaving me for her .

"Comfortable are we " Sade said as she walked out the kitchen and hands Jay a bowl dip along with a pack of chips. I lean forward and grab a dipped chip and savoringly ate it . A little cheese dip came out on the side of my lips and just as I was about to clean it , Jay swooped in gently placing his numb near my lip and takes it out , he then pulls his thumb into his mouth and sucks the cheese off.

Speechless I just turn my head and continue my report not even daring to take another chip.

Jay had finally left and I let out a deep breathe , somehow I was a little shaky around him not that I was nervous I just didn't feel comfortable to let loose .

"So your going back tomorrow huh ? "
Sade said a little taunting .

I stared back at her sadly not wanting to speak . Sade had a superpower where she'd be able to convince anyone to do anything and I just didn't want her to wheel me in.

"Don't do this to me , you know I love you and I won't ever want to leave you but this is my life your talking about . I have to go back home ."

Sade nodded understandingly but deep down I knew she didn't want me to go. We had really great relationship , she wasn't only my friend but my family when I didn't have one.

When my mum kicked me out because I slapped Chloe , Sade was there for me and I love her for that but I can't leave my life back home .

I went back to Sade's guest room where I packed up my belongings before falling into a well needed slumber .
