Usami: "Bakaito!!!!" She opened the classroom door furiously. Her face was red with embarssment, as she held her P.E shirt with her hands. 

The students figured out that she has been pranked again by Kiyamura Kaito, it became a normal thing. She hated him from the first day of school, and he pranked her from the first day too. 

"What the hell baka usagi?" Kaito was eating lunch with his classmates.

"Can you stop being childish? You are a SS student! Do you want to get suspended?" Usami threatened him. Obviously, Kaito wasn't bugged one bit by her threatening in fact he just laughed. She hated his laughs."Don't dare threaten me." He said emitting a dark aura. Usami gulped.  "How about we play a match in basketball today, and if you win I'll stop pranking. If you lose I'll throw you with water balloons."

It was a tough decesion, but she was confident. Even if she was a short, she was good at basketball. "Fine, today after school" and with that she left. However she did hear Kaito say, "Get your water balloons ready". 

She was running through the hallways then stopped when she remembered the rules. She hated him. He was ruining her school life. She even wanted to transfer schools because of him. She had to keep quite since they were partners. That means if one of them got in trouble the other had to be in trouble as well. This was something she disliked. Why must she get be in problems if he is? This was disunderstandable. She wanted to live in peace since she hasn't gotten any in the past two years of her school life. She hated the fact that she was short. She went to her favorite place, the stairs at the abandoned building. This was a building that was used as a office for teachers, but they have moved to a new building. A garden was to be put instead of this old building. She broke in to tears, she couldn't handle it. She just cried and cried. "Why does he have to make it all hard for me? It is my fault I-I-I started it." She shed more tears.

"Ah~ Can't wait to throw more water balloons today!" Apparently he was headed to the same old building Usami was in. Teachers sent him to find a lost key. Was it his job? Nope. 

***Kaito's POV***

"Ah~ Can't wait to throw more water balloons today!" He said to himself. "Now where is that key,hm.." He went down the stairs and stopped when he heard a sound. It was someone crying. He went up to see who was. It was baka usagi. Crying. Her cheeks were hot pink. Her sleeves' hems were wet. Her eyes were red. "Why does he have to make it hard for me? It is my fault. I-I-I started it. He is probably going to win today, as I am short I have no chance. I just hope the water isn't too cold like last time, I don't wanna trouble onii-chan by getting a cold." She shed more tears.

He felt guilty. For once he felt guilty. She looked like an innocent child. She looked hopeless, and somehow cute. Wait. Did he just say that? Woah. However he did feel guilty. Maybe he did over do it. Just a little. His heart felt heavy as he heard her sniff and talk about how she hated to be short because of him. He had to admit, it did pain him a little that he was a reason of her misery. 

***Normal POV***

Usami exused herself then entered the classroom. "You are late miss Yukimura." The teacher said as he noticed her presence. "I apologize." She handed the teacher a piece of paper. It was a nurse exuse. Usami walked to her seat. Kaito was watching her every move. She sat on her seat and so the lesson continued. Her friends threw questions at her immediately.

"Where were you?" Akari asked. "Are you ok?" Momoka asked anxiously

"I am ok, i felt dizzy and I went to the nurse." Usami responded. 

"Are you sure you want to play the basket ball game?" Momo asked. Even though she had forseen her lost, she answered. "Yeah"

~After school~

She packed her bag and went with her friends to the basketball court. The jerk and his friends had already been there. She left her bag with her friends and went to the middle of the court. The boys were on the left side of the court while Akari and Momo were on their right. Kaito was infront of Usami. The whistle went and the ball was thrown, suprisingly Usami caught it.

***Usami POV***

I am not going to lose. The winner is the first one to get 4 points. Even though I was fast he always caught up, and even though he was fast I always caught up. In the end both of us had 2 points and the next shot would determine the winner. I shot the ball after I was close enough to the basket, however unfortunetly, he caught the ball before it would reach its destination. He dribbled the ball and ran quickly, I was too late and he had already shot. He scored, and so the match ended with my lose. Well either way, I knew that I would lose.  I was taken near the pool since they had to fill their balloons. Akari and Momoka were held back by some boys. Four boys were infront of me with each of them holding atleast 2 water balloons.

I closed my eyes.

***End of POV***

***Kaito's POV***

2 boys held her friends so they wouldn't interfere. She stood there infront of me and 3 other boys, each atleast holding 2 water balloons. A  big bucket filled with water ballons was infront of me. She closed her eyes as one of them threw the ball and it landed on her face. She coughed a little and shivered. I felt my heart heavy again, and the guilt rushed in. Her friends tried to escape but couldn't. They threw water ballons one after the other. Two missed and landed on the floor. The last water balloon was given to me. I was told to throw it. I hesitated. Then threw the ball on the floor as I saw her slide. She was about to fall in the pool. I ran to her.

***Usami's POV***

They threw the water balloons one after the other. The water wasn't cold, in fact it was warm. Then I opened my eyes to find the jerk holding a water balloon in his hand. I figured it was the last one as the other boys didn't carry any. He stood there for a minute, then I decided to move a bit forward. Unforunetly I slipped. I was about to fall in the pool. I was falling. As I was falling I saw a figure running to me. It was the jerk. He pushed me forward and he lost balance so he fell. He helped me. I was on the floor drenched with water. Then he went out of the pool and laid beside me. His friends and mine ran to us. "I am sorry." He whispered, then stood up. 

"Usami!!" I heard Akari call. Both rushed to my side and helped me stand up. The boys already left. "It's ok, I am fine. The water wasn't that cold after all." 

I still couldn't believe that behind that jerk was actually a good person. Maybe he isn't that bad after all.
