Elizabeth was his only living child and he named her Princess of Wales, Duchess of York and Duchess of Pembroke. Young Prince Charles was sent to England to marry Elizabeth. Elizabeth insisted on marrying on the day her father married her mother. So they did. They slept in the same chambers but didn't consummate until Elizabeth was 16. She was only 10. Charles became Prince of Wales, Duke of York and Duke of Pembroke upon his marriage to Elizabeth.
