Chapter 10 - Training

Third Person POV

It was the weekend and the weather was fine, you had two weeks before the Sports Festival which means two weeks of training. You wore a (f/c) sweater with a black tank top underneath it, paired with grey yoga pants and sneakers.  You were heading to Iida's place to train together.

You were about to hit the doorbell from the gates but it was already opening, "Ah, Tenya!" You waved your hands and walked towards his direction. He was wearing a turtle-neck hoodie with jogging pants that ended on his knees and a pair of rubber shoes. "(Y/N)-chan." Iida turned himself to you as you huffed.

Iida gestured his hands, pointing and boi-ing your direction, "I was about to head to your place. But it seems you too want to train with me." 

You hummed in yes, "Where shall we train?" "The park might be the perfect place." The park was a 10-minute walk but you two decided to jog to the place. You finally arrived and luckily there were only a few people roaming the place. You stretched your arms and legs and so did Iida, you glanced to his direction, "Obviously, you're just gonna run... aren't ya?" you smirked as he once again shifted his glasses.

Iida nodded with a smirk, "What about you, (Y/N)?" he puts his hands to his waist, waiting for your answer. You faced your head upwards as you began to think, "Well, I'll be running in those trees..." you pointed at the forest like place, "I'll run without touching any of those."

"Hmm... I see."

This training of yours was to enhance your reaction time as you are at full speed. You and Iida went with your separate ways and when finished, you two will meet at the water fountain which is at the center of the park.

You started your training and it was a bit rough, getting grazed by the trunks of the trees, trip, and fall. "I must become stronger, faster..." you picked yourself up as you continue to run and dodge.

After for a few hours, you decided to take a break. You walked to the water fountain and there was no person from there, 'Tenya isn't done huh?' You thought as you sat at the nearby bench. You drank a lot of water before glancing at your surroundings, it was quite peaceful.

 There was a sudden rustle at the trees, you didn't really care at first until it was continuously rustling. You were irritated by the sound and decided to investigate the annoying rustles, you got near to the rustling tree and what you saw lit up your (e/c) eyes. 

"A kitten!" you wagged your tail seeing the helpless kitten at the top of the tree. "Don't worry little one! I'll come and get ya!" you said.

The kitten was pure black in its color and its eyes were in greenish blue. It was a beautiful and a cute kitten. 

You started to go upwards of the trunk making your way to the branches. You grabbed and held on to the branches for support. The kitten was finally on to your reach, it was clinging on to the thin branch obviously scared.

You stretched an arm while the other was holding the branch you were sitting on, "Come kitty, I'll help you." The kitten still didn't budge. You had no choice but to get the kitten all by yourself, the kitten was already within your reach so you gently grab the scared feline. The kitten immediately finds its way to your back and cling with its claws.

You winced in pain as you slowly climbed down. You put your foot down at the last branch for support before going further but it was out of balance, you fell down and landed with your feet and hands.

The cat immediately jumped off to your back, and find its way between your feet. "Where's your mom, kittty?" you asked as you bow down facing the kitten. The kitten was still nudging its face and body on your calves. You glanced at your surroundings trying to find another feline but there was nothing, "None huh?"  You started to walk and the kitten followed you.
