Sophie POV
I was in somebody's arms. I was sobbing. I ran away from home. I hope it wasn't Grady or Edaline holding me. No. It wasn't them. The touch felt gentle and soft... it felt like somebody younger. I looked up to see these soft ice blue eyes staring at me. Keefe. The name sent tingles up my spine. I looked at him with sadness. Why would he come for me? It's not like he likes me. Right? I looked down again and wiped my tears away.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't be crying," I whispered so that my tears won't fall out again.
"You have nothing to be sorry about. In fact, you have every right to cry. But if I'm going to be honest, you are way more beautiful when you aren't."
I looked up at Keefe. Did he just call me beautiful. Keefe looked deeply in my eyes too as if asking the same question. I leaned in and gently put my lips on his. I thought he would pull away but he didn't. I put my fingers up in his hair and messed it up a little bit he didn't seem to care. He did the same to mine. We were making out until we heard someone cough loudly. Me and Keefe quickly jumped away eachother to see an angry Grady and a happy Edaline.
"We are going to talk about this at home Sophie," Grady said firmly.
"Well I guess I'll see you later Foster," Keefe said and he light leaped away.
Grady is going to kill me.
