My name is Juli.
I'm half fey, half human.
But that seems to be the trend these days... I'm not a princess like Meghan or anything. And I don't have two fey boys pining over me.
Only one.
And I pined right back.
This is the story of how I fell in love with the summer prankster."Goodfell, knock it off! And get your feet off my desk!" Our teacher, Ms. Debrov snapped, pushing Robbie's dirty converse off the desk with a thud. I shook my head lightly, a smile playing on my lips at I bent my head down to study the worksheet in front of me.
"Psst! Psst!" Someone whispered at me, throwing a paper at the back of my head, getting caught in my boring brown hair. I turned quickly, snatching the paper out of my hair and preparing to kill whoever it was. Robbie. Goddammit! "I'm going to kill you." I rolled my eyes, throwing the paper back at him, earning a glare from Ms.Debrov.
"Somebody didn't get enough beauty sleep." He frowned, putting his hands behind his head and leaning back in his chair, the paper narrowly missing his elbow. I shot daggers at him and turned around in my chair, returning to the confusing worksheet in front of me.
The bell let out a shrill chime and all the chairs in the room squeaked simultaneously, including mine.I felt an arm slip around my shoulders as I walked towards the door,"I'm not talking to you. Why are you touching my shoulder?" I said stubbornly, crossing my arms tightly across my chest as I looked up at Robbie's twinkling eyes. God he was h- haha no, stop it. "Aw, c'mon Juli! I was only messing with you, god you're dramatic. I could've lit it on fire or something." He wiggled his eyebrows, shooting me a michevious grin.
I groaned before quickly stepping away from him arm, approaching my locker as the halls swarmed on the way to the cafeteria. I quickly put in my locker combo and opened it swiftly, almost, purposefully hitting Robbie in the face. But he jumped away. "Aw, why did you move? I wanted to hit you." I winked, shooting him a grin.
I felt like we were missing something as I shuffled through my locker, attempting to find my lunch bag. "Damn, Oh! I know, Where the hell is Meghan? She wasn't in first period or fourth, not to mention that whole five months she was out." I muttered, looking up at Robbie as he stuttered out an answer.
"S-She's sick again, no worries. I'll check up on her later. Hey, Wanna see a movie or something at your house? I've got a new copy of that stupid comedy you wanted to see." He suggested, shrugging his shoulder lightly.
We walked to our eating spot and chat a bit and ate,"Hey, Rob?" I questioned, stopping our banter for a second,"Where is Meghan really?" I bit my lip, hoping he would tell me the truth. If Meghan was really sick she would've told me.
"Well, uh, I'll show you after school I promise." Robbie said, scratching the back of his head and biting into an apple."Oh and about that movie, sounds fun. We can watch it after you take me to see Meghan, eh?" I grinned, taking a Cheeto and eating it quickly. The bell rang, ending out lunch period quickly as I called out a goodbye to Robbie, parting ways with him as I made it to my last class; History.
I ended up falling asleep in history and cringed when the teacher lectured me. "Sorry, sorry." I mumbled, rising out of my chair as the bell rang, brushing my hair out of my face. I ran to my locker and opened it, shoving my books into my locker and turning to crash into Robbie.
"Woah there, twinkle toes." He chuckled, catching my elbow and steadying me. "Now, Movie or Meghan first? Although, if we see Meghan we may not get to see the movie." He chuckled, scratching the back of his neck as he remained holding my elbow.
"Let's go see Meghan."
