I was standing in the front of the large group of mages. I looked behind me and saw my many robed comrades wielding their tomes and staves, some of them even bearing blades as a way for close combat. I faced forward and couldn't take my eyes off the man in the midst of the bloodthirsty beasts, all who actually seemed unfazed by the man's presence... Almost as if he weren't actually there. What was bothering me the most was that smile he wore on his face. Was he planning something against us? He said he wasn't our enemy but I'm not even sure if I'm supposed to believe that. Nonetheless I open my tome once again.

"Let the darkness consume you, black hole!" I shout while moving my hand forward, pointing toward the horde

"Let the darkness consume you, black hole!" I shout while moving my hand forward, pointing toward the horde. A dark energy began accumulating amidst them and began sucking various Greyhounds into it, what followed was an explosion of pure dark energy, sending them flying in every direction. With this, I was at least able to eliminate a few more creatures. Their numbers began lessening and it started to show.

One of the beasts seemed more angered than the rest, it had spotted me and charged at me but before it was able to reach me, a wall of flames raged one or two meters in front of me. The Greyhound had jumped into the fire and was sent running back to safety or so it thought. The wall of fire had dispersed into tiny embers and then flew toward the foe at incredible speed, which caused an explosion and the demise of the beast.

-"Try to be careful Leah, would be a shame if something happened to that pretty face of yours, darling" states Wallace, smiling in my direction

-"You sure are flashy with those flames of yours"

-"Well of course! I just love to show off my fabulous flames to our classmates, isn't it just beautiful to see these beasts perish under my flames?"

Wallace smiled as he waved his hand forward, scorching his enemies to a crisp, they stood no chance against his fire magic. They were spreading everywhere, missing no enemies. Wallace was showing no mercy whatsoever to these beasts.

-"I call upon you a scorching hellfire, Ignition!"

From the midst of them an explosion occured, blasting several of them away, balls of flame also emerged from the explosion, hitting a wider amount of foes.

After realizing they stood no chance against my comrades and I, the Greyhounds began retreating, running back to wherever they came from in hopes of finding something to fill their empty stomachs. Although the enemies were gone, the man was still standing there, he hadn't moved an inch while watching us. He was standing there smiling which honestly began giving us all a sudden chill; We knew nothing of this man's intentions and we were afraid he would pull some sort of attack on us. Even so, I remained strong, I mustn't show any type fear whatsoever...

-"Bravo! Truly! I must congratulate you on today's victory! Those magic spells you all possess are truly fascinating but I must say, you... The way you manage your magic and the way you move, oh it's just so breathtaking..." The man was looking right at me, staring at me in the eyes, i felt it.

-"You are indeed the one I look for: my dearest Leahna Vanalie..."
