The phone's distinct ringtone echoed in the room as she took the slightly dust covered picture, looking at those who smiled towards the camera.

"Mama, auntie..."

It wasn't really all that tragic, with divorces and deaths, not really, it was a typical story. Her father had left her mother, when she was pregnant, like most high-schoolers.

Of course, she couldn't have done it alone, so her sister, the child's aunt, took it upon herself to help with the baby. She was considered as a second mother by the girl.

Her mother was a chipper person, happy and definitely not a grudge holder, having forgiver her father long ago, as a matter of fact, he had even dared to to ask her out again, claiming that he could take care of her and the child, but while she had forgiven her, she wasn't going to let him close to her family.

Long story short, when the child was around ten, the mother left to try and become a hero, said she needed to do something to contribute to the world, to show them that because you fall once doesn't mean that you can't get up again.

So she went, and five years later, she hadn't heard from her again.

The girl's aunt tried her best to avoid her nephew following the same path, yet she was unable to manage.

"Sorry."

She placed the picture face down where it was before and sat on her bed, reaching out for the phone.

IzuIzu

She slapped her cheeks lightly and blinked several times, trying to recompose herself before swiping the green button up to accept the call.

"Hello?"

"Heyo, Izuizu."

"What are you up to?"

"'Dunno, looking at old pics."

Silence overcame the line, not even his breath being heard.

"Your-?"

"Yeah." Once again, silence.

"Uh, Want to talk about it?"

"Nah, 'tis okay."

"Sure?"

"Yeah."

He starts worrying as the silence extends further, "You know ants can carry fifty times their weight, but not fifty-one; they would be crushed."

"I..."He hears shuffling from the other side of the phone, "You got your biology on point, I see." She chuckles bitterly before sniffling.

"Thank you, Izuku."

With that, she pressed the red button and ended the call, it being two minutes thirty-two.
