I felt like I was going to sweat through my shirt the second I put it on. I was so nervous about seeing Desi tonight and taking her to the club... it was going to be just the two of us. I was internally freaking out...

Scratch that. I was externally freaking out too. Every time I see her I feel like a little school boy. But I swear, I knew her before now. I know I could never forget those green eyes.

I was standing in front of my mirror, checking how my clothes looked. I was wearing a blue leather jacket on top of a black t-shirt and some dark blue jeans. I heard my phone ding, but hadn't put my contacts in yet, so I grabbed my glasses out of their case on my night stand and slipped them on.

It was Desi. She texted, ~Hey, I'm downstairs. Was going to call you but your mom is sort of interrogating me.~ What? My mom is just going to interrogate Desi without even telling me she's here?

I answer back real quick before heading down, ~On my way.~ I rush out my room and down the stairs without trying to run, I was trying to play it cool as I walk down the stairs. "What will you be doing tonight?" I heard my mother ask Desi. "We... We're going to go dancing." I heard her reply nervously.

I smiled as I entered the living room, but my smile dropped when I looked at Desi stunned. She was standing there looking gorgeous and I felt my heart pound against my rib cage. She was wearing this greyish purplish shirt that didn't cover her stomach all the way, allowing the perfect glimpse of her abs, and a thick fluffy looking tan colored jacket just resting around on her arms and ripped jeans with huge holes in the thighs that allowed my eyes to just devour the beautiful tan skin. She was wearing brown heeled ankle boots and her hair was up in a high ponytail.

I think I audibly groaned when checking her out, and Desi must've heard it because she turned to look at me

I think I audibly groaned when checking her out, and Desi must've heard it because she turned to look at me. She gave me a cute smile and a small blush creeped it's way onto her cheeks.

My mom looked at me, "So what are you two doing tonight?" She wanted to confirm if we had the same story. "Dancing, Mom. We're going dancing. I'll see you when I get home." I kissed my mom on the cheek then grabbed Desi's hand, pulling her out the front door before my mother could say another thing.

Desi was giggling, "You're mom is sweet." I rose an eyebrow at her. "What? She worries about you. That makes her sweet, if not a little scary." I chuckled at her last statement. "Yeah, she does her best." I opened the passenger seat to my car for her and she places a hand over her heart in a dramatic way. I rolled my eyes, "Yes yes, I know, now get in." I grinned. She giggled, "Awe, my sweet knight first came and saved me from the old wise woman then opens the door for me." I felt heat crawl across my face at her words as she sat into the car.

I closed the door then walked around to my side, "If you're not careful, this Knight might become an Ogre." I joked. She grinned, "Then you'll be my Shrek in shining leather." I laughed heartedly at her joke and drove off. "Alright Fiona, whatever you say." I said in my best Scottish accent, causing her to laugh.

I have only known Desi for a short time but it felt like I've known her for way longer. I felt like I knew everything and nothing about her all at the same time. But I knew there was so much more I wanted to know.
