"Seulgi, I'm going to buy some snacks at the nearby convenience store. Want anything?" Wendy asked as she took her shoes and wore it before standing up and walking to the door.

"Any cold drink would be fine, thank you! Please be careful, okay? Message me if you arrive at the store." Seulgi said.

"Yes, mom!" Wendy answered in a mocking tone.

Wendy took her first step out of Seulgi's house. She also wanted to have some fresh air. Thoughts are invading her mind at the moment. She's clearly puzzled on how her mom suddenly change. The 360 degree change of attitude somehow felt weird for her. She had not felt that kind of motherly love for a very long time now.

She arrived at the convenience store and just took some chips and ramen for her to stock in her room and of course, the drink that Seulgi loves. After paying for them, she sat by a nearby park.

She let the breeze blow her hair. Messing it up. She didn't mind. She just let herself drown on her thoughts. Questions arising. But not even one question gets answered. She heaved a sigh.

People are really complicated.

"Drowned in those deep thoughts, huh? Care sharing them to me?" A happy voice suddenly said, nudging Wendy's arms.

Wendy snapped out of reality as she saw Hoseok's smiling face. He's wearing a black cap and a mask but he pulled it down to his chin, showing off his perfectly white teeth. His face is literally glowing. An angel.

His presence itself shouted hope which made her feel warm and comfortable around him.

"Hoseok!" She exclaimed. "It's been a while."

"Yeah, I've been very busy with schedules and all. I got a week break so I decided to walk around and here, I bumped into you! How have you been? Are things getting better?" He gave out a very sincere smile, which is very contagious, unknowingly made Wendy smile.

"Things are still hard. Not going fine, but I do think I'm getting stronger. With my friends whose helping me. Also, thank you for not just passing me by that time I decided to.. you know." Wendy trailed and smiled bitterly upon remembering that memory.

"I know you're strong, Wendy. Keep it up. I'll be cheering for you!" Hoseok raised both his hands up and made it into a fist, while making a fighting gesture.

"Thank you, Hoseok." Wendy smiled.

"And oh! By the way, is it.. okay for me to ask for your number?" Wendy shyly asked, making Hoseok laugh.

"Of course!" He answered.

Wendy handed Hoseok her phone as he typed in his number. He pressed call which made his own phone ring and he also saved her number.

"Here you go! You may text me anytime you want. If you want someone to talk to or someone to hang out with. I may be available!" Hoseok said.

"But I sometimes is busy. I'm a celebrity you know?" He made a swag pose as he joked around. Making Wendy burst out laughter.

"You know, every time you laugh or smile, it's wonderful. Don't lose your smile because it definitely looks better on you." Hoseok said, patting Wendy's haid. "Looks like I need to go now." He glanced at his watch before standing up.

"I'll see you next time!" He waved as he jogged to wherever he's going.

"Thank you, again, Hoseok! You made my day." Wendy whispered before she stood up and went back to Seulgi's home.
