The next morning I packed my suitcase and sat in the kitchen eating a piece of bread, drinking calm tea at the same time. Today was the day my cousin would be taking me to his school, Cross Academy where vampires and humans alike take classes for their future.
When I heard someone knocking on the door I calmly answered it. There stood not Kaname, but a different vampire. Another level E. And there were several of them. "You will pay for our friends that you have killed." One of them dragged me out of the house into the middle of the street.
'I just ate, and they want to kill me, how nice.' They came charging at me all at once. I got my arm loose and jumped away onto the top of a building. One by one they started climing the walls. 'Think, Akane, think. What would be a good way to deal with them.'
Once they reached the roof, I was trapped. Unless I jumped down of course. But the bad news was, they covered every inch of ground around the building I was on.
'Wait. Why am I running in the first place?' I am a pureblood, they're all too blind to notice. So maybe I could remind them so. I jumped down into the crowd and summoned immense power as the wind picked up around me. They all looked scared and tried to run, but most were brave enough to attack me.
I summoned fire and it burned the bodies of those closest to me. The other ones that came close enough to touch me were shocked with lightening bolts. Screames filled the air as one by one they all fell, disappearing. I had finished off all of them and turned to go back to the house, but was stopped when I felt something go through my shoulder.
I looked to see an arm sticking out of my skin. I looked behind me slowly, my eyes glowing red, and the owner's head came clean off his body. I took his arm out of my shoulder and examined it. It looked infected, but my blood was already taking care of the wound.
It healed in a matter of seconds. I walked back into the house and changed into a new dress. I sat down and continued drinking my tea. After a couple hours I lay on the couch and doze off into a relaxing nap.
---------------------------------------------
"Akane. Wake up." My eyes opened when I heard a voice next to me. I looked to see Kaname sitting in a chair comfortably. "How long were you here?" I asked sitting up and rubbing sleep from my eyes. "Only a couple minutes. Are you ready?" He asked as he stood up and handed me a bag. I looked inside to see a white uniform inside.
"That is your uniform for the school. It is made specifically for the night class." I noticed now that he wore the same clothing. I nodded, got up, and went to change. A girl's uniform is a top coat with a skirt underneath. It fit my body perfectly.
I brushed out my bed head and walked back into the living room where Kaname was waiting, sitting on the couch this time. He looked up when I came in. "It looks nice on you." He smiled and stood up while I blushed slightly and grabbed my suitcase. I've never been complimented in my life before. "Let's go then."
------------------------------------------
I stood in front of a desk with a blond headed man with his head in a ponytail with glasses on. Kaname stood next to me. On both sides of the man stood a girl and a boy, both wearing the human uniform. Consisting of black which makes me wonder how they get through the heat.
"I have brought her Headmaster." Kaname spoke gesturing to me. "Ah the girl you were talking about." The headmaster looked me over. "What is your name?" I bowed to him slightly. "My name is Kuran Akane, headmaster." The two standing next to him were staring at me with looks of shock on their faces.
"Well, its finally nice to meet the cousin of Kaname, Hime." Headmaster stood up from his desk and bowed. "Let me introduce myself. My name is Cross Kaien." A girl who looked just like me, but with shoulder length hair, stepped forward and bowed. "My name is Cross Yuuki, it's a pleasure to meet you."
