I seriously wish I finished this one. I just love the cranky dynamics of 2001 and Mikey Welsh in general. I literally wrote this for the sole purpose of causing conflict between Mikey and Rivers during a frisbee game gone wild. Alas, That didn't happen :/
The wind whipped widely around the smooth hood of the Jeep, smelling of salt. Pat was at the wheel, laughing while telling a fairly crude story about Matt back in 96'. Brian was sitting in the passenger seat, half listening while gazing out the window. Rivers and Mikey were in the rear. Mikey was attempting to light a cigarette but was laughing too hard. Rivers however just sat there, expressionless and staring out the window. Today was a zen day. Total relaxation. Rivers was stumped on where the band should proceed next with the album and was very close to shutting himself away from everyone again. Mikey suggested they all needed some fresh air and Pat instantly pitched the beach as a destination. They usually stayed in the studio when Rivers was in one of his 'moods' and waited for it to pass. Hopefully, this approach would benefit the band.
