"Blacktail, you have gotten much of my respect as a warrior but, maybe you would be a great depudy" the leader replied
"But sir what about Whiteclaw?"
"He is getting old it will not be long before he is killed in battle, or retires. But whrn he does you will be my firrst choice of new depudy." The Shadow Clan leader replied to the young warrior
"T-thank you sir! I really dont know what to say" the shocked Blacktail exclaimed
"Say nothing, now go give this kit to Ambereye she is waiting in the nursery."
"Yes sir" Blacktail replied as he picked up Peachkit and walked to the nursery.
"Is this the kit I was waiting for?" Ambereye asked the black warrior aproching her.
"Yes this is Peachkit and she is all yours now." Blacktail replied as he gave the queen the kit. "She looks just like you, you should have no trouble convincing her you're her mother."
"True, Thank you for retriving her for me. Cherrykit hasn't opened her eyes ether so they shoukd havr no reason to not belive they are sisters." Ambereye replied "Now go get some rest, I'm sure that queen put up a fight."
"Acually she was sound asleep. I dug a hole in the back of the den so it looked like a fox or a badger got in and killed her."
"Smart move my brother. Now really go get some rest. I should go get some too." Ambereye said as she grabbed Peachkit and squeezed into the nursery. She layed Peachkit next to her own Cherrykit and layed down next to them.
Blacktail was tired he hadn't slept yet so he made his was over to the warriors den and slowly driffted off to sleep.
