"What?"
"I said quit playing that song! Quit playing 'Truce'! I never wanna hear that song again as long as I live!"
"Don't you see? I can't. I can't quit playing, because if I do, then I'm letting the demons win, and so I can't stop playing until they go back and hide in whatever deep, dark hole they came from."

They had agreed that nothing like this was ever going to happen. That was the one thing that Tyler thought hurt the most. The fact that they had agreed that it would never happen, they would talk to each other before things got too far. Of course, that wasn't what hurt the most. What hurt the most was going on social media and announcing that the absolute best friend he ever had was dead, taken by his own hand.

With a name that meant "savior", a lot was expected out of Sela Jackson from a young age.
