RAMIL

I STILL DON'T get why hot people were mostly assholes. And I still don't get why I can't stop admiring him even if he's going to strangle me after I made him chase me throughout the school. But now I've reached a dead-end of a hallway, there was no escape. Shit!

I knew I should've studied the map of this huge school before making a run for it. But it was either running or getting beat up by the basketball team captain Levi Fernsby just because his petty little brother, Draven, couldn't handle losing a debate.

My eyes searched desperately for an escape. The wall clock ticks just minutes before 3PM, and if I get to stall for a short while, I will be saved by the bell.

"You fucking cunt," Levi's baritone voice echoed through the halls, panting and steps slowing. "I got you now!"

"C-Can you stop following me?" I stammered, almost like a whisper. No, Andres, I tell myself. Be strong. Pushing my glasses on the bridge of my nose, I turn to him and raised my chin. "I can file you for harassment, you know that right? B-Bullying, too..."

But the way he smirked made me feel tiny again. "Who says I'm gonna hurt you, Eusebio?"

His perfect golden locks were usually waxed upwards, but now his forehead formed beads of sweat, making a strand of hair bend loose and shade his intense blue eyes.

I gotta admit, he looks really attractive in that green varsity jacket. Okay, why are you thinking about a damn jacket, Andres?! He's literally just a few feet from you now and will probably snap you like a twig, and you're here checking him out!

He steps forward, taunting me until my back hits a locker. He slams a hand onto the side of my face, almost hitting my ears. I flinched but didn't blink. My jaw sets as I curled my fists, brown orbs behind the safety of my glasses locked on his, daring him to continue.

If he thinks he can intimidate everyone in this school, he's made a grave mistake of confronting a Eusebio.

"Try going against my little bro again and you're dead, you hear me?" he growled but I was staring at how perfect even his teeth were.

Everything seemed so perfect about this guy and his family. Unfortunately, looks can be deceiving.

I wet my drying lips and swallowed my fear. He looks down on my mouth. His stare was so deep I can already feel if his lips were to brush against mine... His closeness was sending me on fire...

He leans in... and my mouth parted...

I was saved by the school bell.

As if burnt, Levi withdraws in haste. "I'll get you next time, Eusebio."

He sends me one last glare before pushing off of the wall as students start to pile up the halls. My skin tingled, missing the warmth of his body pressing close to mine...

My fingers found my lips, feeling my heart racing for some reason. I had a moment of silent battle in my head before blinking away any more of these delusional things—

"AAAAANNNDDD CUT!" our director screams, clapping to gratulate us just as the break alarm rings. "Great job, team! Lunch break everybody!"

"End scene," I whisper to myself as I go back to being Ramil Cariño, abandoning Andres Eusebio.

I made a beeline for my director's chair—with my name embroidered on the silk—to check on my phone. We were always asked to put our devices either on silent or airplane mode so nobody wouldn't be disturbed during set, that's why once I get hold of my phone, it wouldn't stop vibrating.
