"I do." I say looking down at my shoes. All of a sudden they're very interesting.
"Really?" he says back to me excitedly.
"What do you mean? You sound surprised."
"It's not that. I've liked you since we first met. I didn't think you felt the same way. And the fact that you had a boyfriend made me feel.... I don't know.... Jealous."
"Wow. I feel the same. It seemed like Andi liked you. I didn't want to intrude."
Aaron walked in the diner next to Julia.
"Hey guys, it was fun hanging out. But me and Aaron are gonna head out. You guys can head to the mall with us tomorrow if you want."
"Yeah, that seems like fun. We'll be there." I say gathering my stuff to leave.

I unlocked the door and stepped into my air conditioned house.
"What a relief" I say, taking my shoes off.
"Yeah. This may seem a bit random. But.... Will you... be my...girlfriend...?"
"There's no need to be nervous. Of course I will!"
He got in front of me and gave me a big hug.
All of a sudden, I felt his lips on mine. We kissed for what seemed like forever.
I want to live in this moment forever.
