Hurt Her

It was a normal Saturday evening. Adaline was at home in the living room watching the television. When her best friend knocked on the door. She got up and sighed at the long night she had. She got up put her shoes on and went to answer the door. At her surprise it was her friends boyfriend. Adaline had been single for over 3 years and in the time her best friend, Amy, had a boyfriend named Kris. He was about 2 years older than her since Amy was 6 months older than Adaline. Adaline always had a bad feeling about Kris. She felt as if he was creepy, but since she wanted to be supportive for her best friend she never said anything. Amy had only been dating him for 5 months and met him at a sports bar. Most of the time Adaline spent was with Amy. However when she got a boy friend all of that stopped and Adaline spent most of the time with her other friends. Adaline looked at Kris and rolled her eyes. "What did Amy leave this time?" Amy and Adaline were roommates and have been for so many years now. Kris replied with "She forgot her purse in the kitchen" Adaline shuffled to the kitchen and grabbed Amy's purse and handed it to Kris. Kris didn't even say thank you or anything he just walked off the porch and left. Adaline seemed bothered by it but didn't pay attention to it.

Time Skip

It had been about 2 weeks since Amy left to stay at her boyfriends house so Adaline decided to call her. She didn't answer. Adaline didn't think much of it and just brushed it off. She turned on the news to see something horrifying.

"Amy Kliff...the girl wth a story. She had been to her boyfriends house as she stated and she was violently hit and raped she didn't eat anything or drink anything for approximately 2 weeks as the doctors say police are still looking for the culpert who did this to her."

Wide eyed Adaline watched the news topper as she saw her friend in the wheelchair crying. She immediately ran to the hospital. Didn't bother to change she left and sweatpants a t-shirt and sneakers and ran into the car and drove as fast as she could not caring about speeding tickets or red lights she got to the hospital signed in and ran into the room where police were scattered. The policeman looked at her confused. "Ma'am I need to ask you to leave" Adaline replied fast with "I'm her only emergency contact" the policeman said "I gonna need to ask you some questions then" Adaline just nodded her head. Adaline and the policeman went into a private room for him to ask Adaline the questions. "Miss are you aware that Amy lost her memory of the event." "No" She said surprised. "Do you at all know who Amy's boyfriend is?" Adaline then sat still in the room looking at the floor.
