Aria's POV
The clock in my library/office area soon stroke to indicate it was almost 12. I quickly put away the book and my research before standing up. I locked the drawer I kept my notebook in and walked out of my study. On my way out I ran into Licht.
"Oh, good afternoon Licht. How did you sleep?" I asked with a smile as we made our way to the dinning room.
"Pretty well. How about you Aria? You seem to have been up for a while." He said.
"I've been up for a bit. But I did sleep well." I answered with a slight laugh.
We made it to the dining room to see Willow and Gorem arguing. The others seemed confused as I stood there with a raised eyebrow. The first to recognize my presence was Misono. He nodded his head as everyone watched the two arguing.
"Why are your two arguing again?" I asked.
"Apparently Gluttony spilt something on Wrath's dress. So now she wants him to pay for the dry cleaning but he refuses." Lawless answered.
I sighed before walking up to the two. I pulled on their ears as they shut up and tried to get me to let go.
"Honestly you two fight like children! Grow up and act your age for once. Gorem you are going to fix her dress. Wrath you will also be doing his laundry today. Do I make myself clear?" I asked with an annoyed tone.
They mumbled yeses as I released their ears. Soon enough I let them go and they held onto their now red ears. I sighed before sitting down rubbing my temples.
"What's wrong my dear? You look stressed." All of Love or Lily said to me.
"I'm fine don't worry. Just a bad headache but it should disappear soon." I smiled gently as breakfast or I should say lunch was served.
Everyone ate while creating different conversations. I tried to listen but my headache continued. I began rubbing my temples trying to get rid of it. I closed my eyes tightly and I felt someone place a hand on my shoulder.
"Easy Aria. Don't push yourself." Willow whispered to me.
"I can't....stop it. So many voices..." I cried feeling tears as my head hurt worse.
"Crap...Gorem! Grab the medicine now!" She yelled holding me tight.
"What's going on?" Mahiru asked worried.
"Spirits are trying to warn her. She's going to black out..." is the last thing I heard before I felt myself fall into the darkness.
Misono's POV
I was silently eating my lunch listening to everyone chatter. Aria sat across from me at the other end. I didn't pay attention to the others much. What did catch my attention was Lily's voice.
"What's wrong my dear? You looked stressed." He said.
I looked up and saw Aria give a reassuring smile but I didn't buy it. She said it was a bad headache but I noticed her eyes. She began rubbing her temples and closed her eyes temple. Willow walked over to her and placed a hand on her shoulder.
Everyone quieted down as they also took notice of her changes.
"Easy Aria. Don't push yourself." Willow said Henry hugging the girl.
"I can't...stop it. So many voices..." she cried as tears began falling.
"Crap....Gorem! Grab the medicine!" Willow yelled easing Aria onto the floor.
I was the first to be by her side. Everyone else held worried looks.
"What's going on?" Mahiru asked with a worried tone.
"Spirits are trying to warn her. She's going to black out soon." Willow said.
"Will she be ok?" I asked suddenly.
"I think. Normally she's fine but I don't know what caused it this time. She's had a headache since lunch started. And that was 15 minuets ago. She just needs rest." Gorem answered giving Willow some medicine.
"Gorem help me get her up." Willow said as he nodded.
We watched as the two servamps took her to her room. We sat down as we rethought what just happened.
"I don't know about you guys. But while Aria is out of commission, let's go investigate. Find something out about Tsubaki. At least we can help our new friend." Mahiru said standing up.
" I agree. We can't just sit here and do nothing. Let's go." Licht said.
We all agreed and left a note before splitting up. Before I could leave though, Willow stopped me.
"Misono. I have a favor to ask of you." She said softly.
I waited till everyone left before turning around. I looked at her with a confused face.
"I know that you are all worried about her. I also know you all want to stop Tsubaki. Let me and Gorem go search with the others. I want you to stay here with her." She said softly to me.
"Me? Why do I have to stay? I barley know her." I said confused.
"That may be true. But Aria has trusted you more openly than ever before. I want you to stay here and watch her. Please." She said almost begging.
I sighed before giving in. I waited for the two to leave before locking the door. I made sure everything was protected before heading to Aria's bedroom. I opened the door quietly and saw her sleeping. I walked in and closed the door behind me striding across towards her bed. She looked so pale and weak. Is this the damage her power does?
"I'm...sorry...Demu...." she mumbled.
I grasped her hand tightly thinking of something to say.
"It's ok. No one blames you." I said calmly.
Why was I doing this? I barley know the girl and she annoyed me when we first met. Now here I am sitting by her bed side as she's sick because of a power she was born with. Not to mention our enemy is after her. Yet why? Why was I drawn to her? Her voice when she sings livens up my day. Her smile melts my heart all the time. Do I love this girl?
