Misono's POV
It has been a few hours since everyone left. I still sat quietly next to Aria. She seemed to settled down and now she was laying peacefully on her bed. I had grabbed a book and was reading. I looked over at her and noticed she had a fever. I sighed closing the book gently before walking to the bathroom.
"This girl. What the hell is wrong with me?" I mumbled before grabbing a washcloth and wetting it.
I walked back over to Aria and set it gently on her forehead. She seemed to relax and enjoy the coolness of the cloth. I sighed sitting back down but decided against reading. I leaned over and brushed a few hair strands out of her face.
"Only you seem to make me this soft. Why is that? You are such a strange girl." I said gently grabbing her hand.
She stirred slightly before smiling. I released a breath and relaxed slightly. I retracted my hand and began reading again. All the while I kept my eye out.
Aria's POV
I was still in the dark place. I've grown used to the coldness. But there was a strange warmth I haven't felt before. I followed the warm feeling to stand in a light. It was the first time I've ever seen this. It felt nice and comforting. There was a hint of coolness but that was it.
"Only you seem to make me this soft. Why is that? You are such a strange girl." The voice said.
I gasped realizing it was Misono. But I soon smiled and enjoyed the warmth. The warmth I felt was his hand but it soon left. I closed my eyes still smiling to myself. When I opened them again, I was heading to a light. Guess it was time to wake up.
I groaned as my eyes slowly opened. I felt a pressure on my stomach and looked to see Misono had fallen asleep. I smiled and gently pet his head. His purple hair was so soft. I giggled softly still playing with his hair. He was such an odd fellow. He always had this high and mighty act. But deep down I knew he wasn't like that.
"Misono~it's time to get up!" I whispered poking his cheek.
He groaned before snuggling his head deeper into the sheet. I laughed quietly to myself at his cuteness. I looked and saw he was reading a book. Softly, I grabbed the book and saw it was my old childhood book. The story of Romeo and Juliet. I always wanted a love like the one shown.
"Romeo, Romeo, where art thou Romeo?" I read quietly laughing.
Misono stirred slightly before sitting up and rubbing his eyes. I suppressed a blush that wanted to rise. You can't blame me though! He's so cute!
"Morning!" I chirped happily.
"Mornin." He yawned smiling lightly at me.
"Where did everyone go?" I asked placing the book down.
"They left awhile ago to go get some things. They should be back soon." Misono responded fully awake now.
"I see. Well I guess it wouldn't hurt to do some research." I thought to myself.
Misono seemed like he wanted to ask me something. But nothing came out of his mouth. I leaned a little closer inspecting him. He seemed to notice and blushed leaning away.
"Can I help you?" He asked
"You seem deep in thought! What's up?" I asked.
"Nothing. Come on the others should be arriving." He said standing up.
I followed after a bit of observing him. I stretched my arms and walked out of my room towards the kitchen. I didn't exactly get to finish lunch. Maybe one of the chefs has a snack I can have till dinner.
Demu's POV
I watched silently as my sister and Misono walked through the manor. They made small talk but I could tell they were nervous around each other. I smiled slightly at the sight. Ah young love, how you wound me. But my smile fell to a frown. I sighed running a hand through my hair. I sat down on one of the chairs in Aria's office. How was I supposed to ask her?
"Hey uh Aria. I need you to do me a favor-no that will never work" I sighed.
There is no way I can tell Aria to stop tracking that Fox. I know she feels guilty about everything that's happened. Maybe I can ask Willow or Gorem to talk with her. She will listen to them more than me. If I tell them my reasons it may work. Of course I will have to lie a bit.
"We're back!" That Mahiru kid shouted.
I cursed at my luck. I ran a hand through my blonde hair. Why is this so hard to do?! It's to make Aria safe! So why can't I just outright tell them? I groaned to myself before walking out keeping my self invisible. I just need to talk with Willow. She is the most reasonable one at the moment.
"Oh Misono! Where is Aria?" Gorem asked.
"She's in the kitchen. She was hungry." He responded casually.
I followed Gorem till he was alone. I appeared and stopped him.
"Oh hey Demu." He responded casually.
"I need a favor to ask." I said quickly.
"Which is?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
"I know why Aria is after Tsubaki. Trust me I do. But I don't want her to research him anymore. Please, convince her. I don't want to see her get hurt." I said trying to sound believable.
Gorem looked at me curiously. I silently prayed that he believed me. He sighed before rubbing the back of his neck.
"Alright I'll try. But I can't guarantee anything ok?" He said.
I smiled and gave him a handshake before disappearing again.
"I can't believe I have to deal with feisty Aria today..." Gotem groaned walking in.
"Sorry bud. Better you then me." I sighed leaving the manor.
I flinched when I heard Aria begin to yell. I looked back before looking down at the ground. I looked up at the sky and sighed seeing it raining.
"If only you knew the strength of your powers Ari. Please....trust Misono."
