Chapter 3 Sky POV

I walk into the apartment when I see Eli and a small girl making out on the couch,

"Eli, how could you!" I yell at him, and he stares back, then smirks,

"You had it going Skylar, you have two hours to get you things and get the heck out before he comes," he says evilly,

"What! Eli why would you tell him where I was?" I ask, grabbing my hair in frustration,

"He said he would give me money, good luck," he says and I grab my emergency bag, just in case this happened; I run out of the house to see Mari doing something on her phone, and I tap her window,

"Sky what's wrong?" She ask,

"He's almost here we have to go!" I say, jump into her car and she asks,

"Who is almost here?" I bite my lip,

"My father, we get away from here, Eli tipped him that we were here!" I say and she then starts the car and we head back to the head quarters, where we get many strange looks,

"What's wrong?" Ian asks for they were playing some game I didn't know,

"I'm ruined! He found me, and now I'm gonna have to change my name and move again!" I say in frustration,

"'Again?' You ran from your dad before?" Mari asks me and I slide against the wall,

"Yes, right after high school we took my truck and drove from Florida to here, and I just can't believed Eli did that! We had dated for eight fricking years, I was that dyslexic girl and he was the loser boy, but we made it together! Just why?" I scream, I'm having a mental break down.

"Shhhh Sky, you just need to calm down." Mari try's but I just can't stop.

Ian POV

I look at Sky who looked ready to pass out from crying, but then I remember a song that my sister and I would sing when either of us felt sad,

"Buzzing bees, flutter bys, it will be ok tonight. The sun will shine, an open road, as long as I got my home." I say quietly but she still hears me,

"Ian, how do you know that song?" She sniffles, and smiles a little bit,

"My little sister and I when we little would sing that when we felt sad, I don't remember that much since my mom and I left her when I was eleven, I don't know why," I say and she then looks at the ground, and mumbles something, "Sky what's going to happen now?" I ask she smiles,

"I'm gonna fight the power, my father and I have always never gotten along but I don't need to be afraid," she says, but then looks at her black duffle bag, "Do you guys want to see my pictures?" She asks and opens it but then there's only bricks in it, "What the firetruck!" She screams, "Eli that lumberjack," she then looks at the small note written on a sticky note, and then turns to Mari, "Mari?" She asks,

"Yeah Sky?" She asks her,

"Can you read this to me?" She asks, embarrassed of her dyslexia,

"Of course, it says: 'Ha ha got you stupid, I hope your father gets all your friends. I know one of them is reading this now so let me tell them your real last name-'" Sky then snatches it,

"That son of a monkey," she mutters,

"What did he mean Sky? Isn't Rester your last name?" I ask her but she turns her head,

"I'm sorry I came around here, if I stay any longer, he'll get you guys too! My father has treated me like shiza everyday from September 17, 1998, to June 5, 2009; I just don't know where to go," she says, looking at all of us, those dates reminded me of something, but I can't pinpoint it,

"Your staying with me Sky, you have been a good friend, and we can fight your dad!" Mari says, putting her arm around her,

"I don't know what I would do without you guys, luckily I have my emergency hard drive in my pocket of my videos and scripts, for that would be bad." She pulls out a purple hard drive with sloppy hand writing, I guess with her name on it.

"So you make videos and scripts huh?" Lazercorn asks, taking the hard drive and plugging into the computer,

"There's a lot of things on there, some is as old as in high school," she says, when I looks at the hard drive, it just says Skylar, and her name, she marked out her last name,

"How about 'my first video'?" Joven asks, pointing to it,

"I guess, it was ten years ago," she says sounding uncertain,

*script style*

Sky: *English accent* Hello this is my video diary one, I wanted to say my whole day, this morning I snuck out before my dad woke up. Lid attacked me as usual, with her words and fists today. At lunch they stole my backpack and in acting the read out my scripts, *she slams her hand on desk! but then a loud thump happens* oh great

*man blunders in and grabs Sky's shoulder*

Man: *English accent* Hello little one, time to come with me,

*screen goes back*

*end of script style*

I look at Sky she's crying,

"I now remember this," she says, having more of an English accent than earlier,

"Sky I didn't know you had an English accent, I used to have one," I say and she smiles, taking her hard drive out and yawns,

"Oh great, my medicine is at home, oh well." She shrugs, taking her jacket and walking out with Mari, and I turn to Anthony,

"That was weird," he comments, while Sohinki grabs his hoodie,

"Well I need to get home, I'm tired." He says, walking out.

"I just can't get those date out of mind, are they birthdays? Maybe, or is it," I then gasp,

"What?" Lazercorn and I open my mouth to be interrupted by sirens.

Sky POV

We walk into her apartment, where her boyfriend Peter was scrolling through the channels, and Mari clears her throat,

"Hey babe," he says, not taking his eyes, off the screen,

"I have news Peter, we have another girl in the house," Mari says, when Peter swerves his head to me,

"You must be her new coworker, I'm Peter. Sky isn't?" He greets, shaking hands with me,

"Yep, I had problems with my apartment so Mari said I could stay with her," I say and he tilts his head to her,

"Well ok then, um, I guess you'll be staying in the guest bedroom-" he interrupted by two knocks on the door, which makes me dive behind the couch,

"Calm yourself Sky," Mari says, opening the door, and I see a police man,

"I'm looking for a Skylar, she looks like this," he says, and I almost gasp, I guess my dad told the cops I was missing, I guess he has a old picture of me in high school, ache, glasses, head gear, and pig tails.

"I haven't seen a Skylar, I'm sorry." She says, when I see the familiar picture,

"Liar, there she is!" He yells, two of them grabbing me, then I remember him,

"Jackie, you sick bastard, did my father send you," I yell, letting my accent show, which I hate it, but then round house kicking Jessie, the one to my right, and punching Laurie in the face on my left, but then I feel something very painful, and a loud shot.
