Niall was always considered the girl in his and Harry's relationship. To all of there fans he was seen that way. Behind closed doors Harry was definitely the girl in their relationship.

The two lads had been going out for about five years now and were adorable. When you walked into a room with the two you could almost feel the history and love radiating off of them. Harry had met everybody in Nialls family and that had made Niall very happy. He was almost just like family.

The thing that got Niall thinking about possibly getting down on one knee and pulling a ring out was when the two were in Ireland. They were visiting Nialls family and were at Nialls brothers house for the night.

Harry was playing with Theo who was now three and was a talking mess most of the time. When he heard Theo say something. "Uncle Harry" now Theo had met all of Nialls friends and never once had he called them Uncle.

That's why when Harry went out to pick up food Niall was sat on the couch thinking of the very one thing he use to promise himself he would never do. Get married.

The thought of proposing to Harry was scary because of how many things could go wrong with there marriage. Niall wasn't even sure Harry was ready for such a big commitment.

Niall hadn't even fully thought about proposing but he had brought it up over a beer with his dad and brother. They both told him to go for it.

About a month later after a lot of serious thinking the two lovers went to visit Harry's family. Niall was going to ask Harry's parents for permission to marry there son.

Driving down to Harry's home town was something they decided to leave early in the morning and let's just say there trip was quite an adventure. When they were on the highway there was a traffic and as they were driving Niall couldn't stop the car quick enough causing them to bump into the trailer of the car. They had to pull out of the highway to talk to the lady driving the car. There wasn't any damage done. They also learned the woman was coming home from cleaning a house after her husband had died they didn't ask any questions about the subject.

After that they got stuck in traffic two hours. Turned out there was a car accident. Then when the traffic started moving they had to pull over because there car wasn't working right. They decided to rent a car for the rest of the trip.

When they finally got to Anne's house they went straight in and said there hellos. Gemma was there which was a nice surprise for the siblings. They decided they would go to bed because of how late it was.

When they got to Harry's room Harry took a look around it was exactly how he remembered it. One single bed with blue paint on the was and a few posters here and there. "Harry Niall here are some towels if you want to shower and about the bed situation one of you can sleep on the couch or something." She smiled at the two and hugged Harry then Niall. "Thanks Anne." Niall whispered. "But I think me and Harry will fit on this bed." He said kissing her cheek.

Laughing Anne shook her head. "Goodnight boys!" Anne called as she walked into her room with Robin. "Do you really think we can fit on this bed Niall?" Harry questioned his bestfriend. Smiling at Harry he striped down to his boxers as Harry did the same thing. Quickly grabbing onto Harry Niall pulled him closer and pushed him on the bed gently and jumped on him gently causing Harry to laugh quite loudly. Hearing Harry's laugh Niall started laughing.

In the rooms next to Harry his family was smiling at Harry's happiness. They almost cracked a smile when Harry broke into laughter all over. All because of that one blonde boy in there.

When Niall woke up he was laying almost right on top of Harry. Harry was snoring quietly and it was in Nialls opinion very annoying. Quietly getting out of bed Niall walked downstairs to see that the rest of the family was already up.

Everybody smiled at Niall when he walked into the kitchen. "Niall would you like any tea?" Anne questioned Niall politely. Smiling Niall said yes and took it happily. Turning his attention Harry noticed that Robin was watching the news "Gay marriage was now legal in two other countries. Almost like a lightbulb went off in Nialls head he turned to face the family again suddenly a little nervous. "Anne" Niall said seriously. "I was wondering if I could maybe have your permission to ask Harry to marry me?." Niall said sounding scared hopeful.

Anne looked over to Gemma raising an eyebrow then to Robin. "Niall I would let you do anything with Harry as long as you keep making him happy." She finally told Niall smiling at him. "Quickly standing up Niall jumped! "Really!" "Yes Niall go ahead!" Niall grabbed his phone off of the charger and grabbed the car keys. "Where are you going Niall?" Anne asked. "I have to go talk to Des tell Harry I went to get food he shouldn't question it." Niall said jogging outside and into the car. Des lived about ten minutes away so it was a quick drive.

When Des answered the door he did not expect to find Niall standing on his porch. Niall smiled at Des. "You know I love Harry right?" Niall questioned Des seeing him nod Niall continued. "I wanna marry him but I would like your permission." Niall said crossing his fingers behind his back.

"You better adopt or find a way to have kids then!" Des said winking at Niall. Taking that as a yes Niall jumped, kissed Des on the cheek then ran back to the car. "I'll talk to you later! Love you dad!" Niall called over his shoulder.

Driving up to Tesco Niall grabbed a loaf of bread. Then left and got back into the car he couldn't lie to Harry. Walking into the house he noticed Harry sat on the couch with his family watching old family videos. "Niall baby come here!" Harry called to Niall. "Harreh what now?" Niall asked smiling in Harry's direction.

"Harry I want to go on a date tonight." Niall said grabbing Harry's hand. Niall placed a kiss on his lips before pulling back. "I have to go upstairs to make plans Kay" he whispered. Nodding along to what Niall said he turned back to the tv. "Don't take to long."

Later in the day Harry wasn't feeling to hot he was really tired and dreading having to dress up for this date with Niall.

Niall had told Harry's family that he was going to do it tonight. Niall had asked if they would stay somewhere else for the night and they happily agreed. As the time for the date neared Harry got worse. As Niall was all dressed up for the date Harry was just getting into bed. When Niall was finally ready he walked into Harry's room to find Harry asleep. Niall woke Harry up. "Are you okay baby?" Niall questioned. "I don't want to go on that date tonight Niall I'm sorry." Harry said sadly. Niall frowned but then nodded and asked Harry how he was feeling. Just because Harry wasn't feeling to well meant that he didn't need to ruin there plans.

Niall walked into the kitchen and pulled out Anne's cookbook. finding a recipe that looked good he made sure he had all the ingredients and got too cooking.

When Niall was done he brought the food out to Harry. "Were going to have a house date" Niall said kissing Harry's cheek. Later after talking Niall grabbed Harry's hands. "Harold shh-" Niall whispered. "I have to talk to you I want you to know that I love you. Your my absolute best friend and I never want to lose you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me" Niall said pulling the ring out of his pocket.

Harry looked at Niall "why are you proposing in my house?" Harry asked then quickly nodded! "I mean yes of course I will marry you! I love you!" Harry pulled Niall in for a hug.

Some of the things that I put in this story are true but they happened to me not them. Like the whole scene about drivin in the car happened to me !! And I hope you guys liked it !!
