"What do I have to learn? We have all the relevant knowledge we need here in The Hollows"
There was no way I would be telling this Jonah how much I disagree with what I just said.
"Have you ever heard the sound of waves crashing into each other or your favorite song blasting through your car radio?" Said Jonah longingly.
"What is a car? Or a radio? Oh never mind that, why are you in a class for girls? I have never seen a boy here before."
"I was placed in here by the higher ups. I have been called pretty bad things I don't want to repeat for being here but I love being a well rounded person."
The 3 hours flew by and I must admit, Jonah is fascinating. He told me all about what life was like on The Outside. But all I could think about is, how in the world does he know all of this?
I was quite giddy on the ride home from mending class. I think what interested me the most is how unfazed he seemed about the roles we have in place here in The Hollows. It is pretty unheard of for a boy to take a girls class. Although I don't think there are any rules against it. Boys should know how to patch up a hole as well in my opinion. Even though we will never need to, that's what the bots are for. I wonder if Jonah has visited The Outside somehow. If he has, do you think he will let me tag along?
