Chap 3 ( I'm Vegan?!)

It's been 3 days since the bawling incident and Li Jun has finally come to terms that he was in a new place, new era, new body. He had also recently found out that the old lady was called Wang Ma or at least what she wanted him to call her since she kept repeating " Your highness, I am Wang Ma. Wang Ma. Wang Ma. Wang Ma. Wang Ma..." as if it were a chant.

Right now, Li Jun was fine unless you include how he is feeling hot, stuffy, dizzy, aching, blurry ... basically running a really bad fever. It was really really hot and he was having difficulty breathing. Wang Ma has of course noticed this and immediately commanded Da Sha to call a physician over.

  " Physician Li, this way please." Wang ma's voice sounded from the outside.

The sound of hurried footsteps could be heard and finally came to a stop beside him. In a state of blurriness and confusion, Li Jun felt himself being lifted up and someone pressing onto his wrist gently.

After awhile of silence, physician Li spoke. "Hmm, may I ask if he has any rash or itchy skin on his body?

"Rash? Ah, yes yes. He has rash on his back and a bit on his chest. Is it bad? Please don't tell me it's bad, I'm sure it's just normal baby rash right."

" Well, I've got bad news and good news. Good news is that it just an allergy. Bad news is that the allergy is very bad and can lead to death especially because he is just an infant. And you should know that such a high fever is deadly. So right now, I'll first prescribe him some herbs and we will see from there-"

And that was the last thing Li Jun heard before he passed out. 

....

" Your highness' you've awoken! Oh thank the gods! It's alright now, don't worry your highness, everything is fine now you're fine now." Wang Ma said with a little tears in her eyes. 

Opening his eyes, Li Jun awoke to see the familiar face of Wang Ma staring back at with him with tears in her eyes. 

What's wrong? he thought.

As if reading his mind, Wang Ma then said " Oh your highness, why must such things happened to you. Are you really cursed by the gods with your black hair and eyes? Not only were you abandoned at birth, now you are allergic to meat and milk. Physician Li said these kind of symptoms are rare yet.. yet you got it. Oh my poor highness!"

A-Allergic t-to meat! D-did she just say that I'm allergic to meat and milk?! NO WAY! Oh my poor poor life.... This cannot be, what... how is this even possible? Don't tell me my purpose coming here is.. to... be a MONK! No oh no no no no....∑(ΦдΦlll... no wait... now that I thing about it... it does seem possible. Oh nooooooo, my life, I'm gonna become a monk.... was what ran through Li Jun's tiny head.

Days after that, Li Jun no longer feel sick from his allergies and he felt that the itchy parts of his body have gotten better. Right now, he was currently living on milk made from plants as he saw it,probably soy milk,instead of well animal's milk. Sigh, seems like he is really vegan now. 

Li Jun could only lament that he was really unlucky. But not that he mind not eating meat, he was never a meat lover in the first place but it's just that he really love milk.... milk tea. In his previous life he would drink a cup of milk tea everyday, he can't help it. He was addicted to it. He even went to research on making milk tea and needless to say the talented him was able to make a super delicious cup of milk tea. Sadly, now that's all for naught. Without milk, how was he able to make his milk tea....

wait a minute, he thought... What if I use soy milk to make milk tea... yes I am a genius hahahaha. 

And so the depressed Li Jun was pacified and happily drank his bottle of soy milk while happily thinking about the days when he would get to drink his favorite milk tea again.

Well, guess who is a fan of milk tea... ME!

So, I guess in a way I'm kinda like Li Jun unable to give up my milk tea and become vegan. But anyways, I didn't just make Li Jun vegan just for the sake of it ok. It is so that I could portray him as a more saintly character who interacts with animals and is loved by all animals. 

I mean I can't have him being loved by animals and loving them but still eating them right? It's kinda contradictory, ya know what I mean. Those who are vegan I'm sure you understand.

For example, (no offense) some people say that they like chicks because they are so cute but they eat chicken. That's kinda scary isn't it. If Li Jun later say he likes bunnies but then later he cooks it and eat it, I don't think that really nice... get what I mean?

So, please do understand that I will make Li Jun become more, um, veganised in the future.
