"Welcome to Cartersville Middle, my name is Mrs.Watson. I'm your assistance principal, and you don't need to be scared of me. I am just here to help." Said the lady on the stage. I got a little worried to hear that we will need help and it's not going to be easy this year. I don't think she meant it that way, but she still said it. I raised my hand and Mrs.Watson called on me. "Ah, Alexis would you like to share what you are most excited about this year?" I hesitated for a moment until I finally spoke. "Actually I wanted to know where the bathroom is." I said as my face appeared to be pink. "Well Alexis you will have to wait until the assembly is over, but to you can share what you are excited about! Like, for instance, you could try out for a team, joining a club, what do you say?" My palms got sweaty at the exact second she said that. What do I want to do for the rest of my middle school year? "Well I've always been amazed by the cheerleaders, maybe I could try that out. Anyway when is try outs?" I heard a crack in the door when a saw this boy standing there. He had a poster board in his hands. I don't know if I summoned him or something, but he had the cheerleaders tryout poster! I thought to myself oh crap.
