Shit, I forgot to close the curtains of my bedroom window, and now I woke up because of the bright light shining right into my face. Maybe I should have laid on the other side of the bed, so I wouldn't get blind of the burning sun.
I'm still not excited about the idea of moving out for I don't know how long, and not even saying goodbye to my school, my teachers MY FRIENDS?! I felt like my parents just ripped me out of my current life and put me in a new life. Ha... that's exactly what just happened.
Toothbrush, eye contacts, all my clothes, all my heels, my wigs. No just kidding lol! I'm not sure what to do with my school uniform? Should I bring it back or just leave it here, I am not even sure if we're going to sell the house. If someone could read my face, he would say confusion and a bit of anger.
So I am just going to forget everything that just happened last night with Toni? I always hated saying goodbye to people.
"Let's go, Ella, we're leaving in 10 minutes!" Mom yelled one room away from my room like I was deaf.
"Mom, you don't have to yell at me, I should be mad not otherwise!"
My mom entered the room and glazed.
"Be happy Ella, we're finally doing something different in life, a big city. You always dreamed about New York City, right? Why are you so sad then?"
I rolled my eyes, how could my mom not understand me?
"I will never see Avery again! And how about school?"
"We fixed that problem sweetie, don't worry. We're leaving now, maybe it's better not to say goodbye, it will only hurt you more."
I guess you could say that idea hit me. But what can I say, my mom was right it would hurt her and me more.

As soon as we hit the road to the most famous city New York, I decided to write in my Diary.
Dear Diary,
I am not sure if I still like the idea, but trying to like the idea won't hurt anyone. So what does New York look like? Are the people nice? How are the school there? and my biggest question... Who are the Mendez's?
I have been sitting 2 hours and 36 minutes to be exact, it was a hell of a ride but with the right music downloaded on my iPhone, I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Wow, as I looked out of my car window I could see the big skyscrapers, the yellow taxi's, and all the fancy restaurants such as 'Five Guys' and 'Taco Bell', or did they call those fast food restaurants?
"Hey! Watch out, kid!! My dad said frustrated.
So since there are 9 million inhabitants, I can imagine the chaos in this city. I'm not sure how many people lived in Abingdon, Maryland but I can guess not even 1.000...
"Sweetie, we already decided that you'll go to Columbia University, it's the best school and ranked #6 in top Universities of America."My mom said while looking at pedestrians who wanted to cross the road.
"You just decided that overnight?"I said shrugging and shaking my head.
"We had planned everything a month ago, we wanted you to go to the best school here in New York."
"I assume it's a private school..?"
"Obviously sweetie, why is that even a question?"
I don't know maybe because I am the one going to that school and not you?!!!
Of course, I didn't say that, Ha ha ha house arrest the first day of school.
"No, I just thought, I won't have many friends then."
