The battle eventually ended. Yuu being able to tame the seraph gene inside the angel they have been fighting. With the help of his newfound family, Mika standing beside him while Kimizuki catches the unconscious seraph with its wing clearly disappearing.
Everyone gathered with Ferid and Crowley walking towards them talking like the bossy and the go with the flow brothers, Guren and Shinya like the annoyed and the annoying brothers with guren's squad behind bickering as usual. And the shinoa squad running towards him smiling and congratulating them for their success.
But as everyone gathered, Yuu felt something was wrong but he cannot figure it out yet like there was something amiss. It was turning too smoothly. He brushed it off turning his attention to the petite ashen hair. He turns towards Shinoa, smiling running towards him. He felt butterflies in his stomach.
As Shinoa walks toward him, Yuu thought that finally, I am capable of protecting my newfound family. I'll never let anyone die again. And with this power, I can also revive my lost family.
" Yuu-san are you alright?" Shinoa said.
"Yeah, just a little scratch". ...."Are you alright, Shinoa? You seem quite off during the fight".
Shinoa flinched at my remark. Her big reddish brown piercing orbs looks shocked. It looks like a bit more of a shade of red lately.
"Haha...cherry boy, you're quite concerned, are we? "Shinoa replied.
"N-no...I am not chibinoa."Yuu replied with a slight of pink in his cheeks. Shinoa raised one of her eyebrows. "Now, you've done it, virgin..."Shinoa replied. "I'm going to kill you now" She moves forward twirling her small pen into a scythe.
Yuu also moved towards her but instead of fending off her attack he moves his hands towards her face. He pressed his forehead against hers softly.
Shinoa blushed like a tomato. She doesn't know what to do.
"Hey..why are your eyes look slightly red?" Yuu blurted it without thought. He also turned red as a beet but he never minded it. He's only concerned was Shinoa.
Her heart skips a bit. It likes the two of them are in their own world. She leans towards him. Wanting to be hugged by him, to be kissed by him, Shinoa feels the warmth Yuu is emitting.
Yuu leaned closer to her more, as if almost they can hear their breaths and touch their lips. Shinoa felt like an inner demon within her is awakening. Shi-chan looks so pleased above them.
As Yuu is inched closer to kissing her. Shinoa pulled away and step backward almost as if denying him. Shinoa snapped out of it, thinking she cannot feed her demon with more desire. She must control herself or else...She stopped thinking and said,
"I...i...was reading too much with the spell books..you know..maybe I strained my eyes....well..well...I wanted to be able to help you by understanding those complex spells.."
Yuu chuckled. And to his dismay, the kiss was canceled. Instead of sadness, he looked straight towards her delicate small facial features. He seized the moment to admire her closely.
He looked into her beautiful orbs as if telling her "I'll wait for you.......you can tell me your problems..."
"Besides I do not want to be called an idiot by Lt. Guren" she added.
"Now, bakayuu, get your hands off my beautiful face or are you planning to kiss me?" She teased him, he blushed and immediately removed his hands from her face. Yuu thought I would have already kissed you midget.
"Oh..hahaha...i'm sorry". The two noticed that the others are watching them. They felt embarrassed.
"Get your own room, you lovebirds"guren said.
"Hey, gureeen..are you jealous cuz you don't have one?"ferid added.
"Haa? don't talk nonsense...I feel tired..let's go back and have some dinner". Guren changed the subject. "But you have me guren dear"Mahiru the demon splurted. "Die"guren replied, making everyone except ferid shock as to whom he's speaking.

Ferid hid the cross which is from the seraph's chest. They go back to the mansion.
Mika talked to Yuu about the postponed kiss but Yuu seems not listening. He seems in deep thought. And for once, Mika thought "wow, this idiot is starting to use his brain?!hahaha"
Meanwhile, Mitsuba teased Shinoa."So what's the deal, little miss 'hooray for sexual illicit relationship'?" "Hiragi's not innocent anymore"Narumi added.
"Mi-chan...I just cannot let it happen"Shinoa replied. I cannot tell them that my inner demon is awakening."We are at war, what if someone dies between the two of us. It will affect the other".
They turned silent for a moment."Well, you have our backs hiragi" Narumi added. Mi-chan 'breaks the ice' and teased Kimizuki to make them desserts for dinner.
"Haaaa? I'm not your servant you...bi-tc...but I would do it if you say 'Kimizuki-sama please' Kimizuki retorted.
"No way in hell, grumpy pink boy".Mitsuba replied immediately."Wha--at did you just name me, ol' lil tsundere girl?"kimizuki said.
They all laughed except for the two bickering.
They went inside and had dinner. Except for Ferid who was standing on the balcony facing the starry sky. Crowley went and asked, "what are you scheming right now?"
Ferid turns around and said, "Oh, Crowley-kun, here you are...no, I am not scheming anything, I am just savoring the moment..the lull before the storm.
"You mean the calm before the storm" Crowley snarkily added."So who's that storm coming?"
"The First Progenitor, Sika Madu, the fallen angel" Ferid replied. "or shall we say Shikamadouji-sama".
