********** Harpers POV *************

I took a deep breath. "Okay, Harper. This is senior year. Dont screw this up." I whispered to myself as I walked through the school doors.

I walked around, trying to find my first class before the bell rang. I looked down at my schedule. Math was in room A119.

Suddenly, I was jolted to the floor. My papers went everywhere. I looked up, feeling extremely annoyed.

A boy with brown hair stood above me. His eyes were filled with guilt and concern.

"Im so sorry, I wasnt looking. Here, let me help you." he said. I found his voice quite unique and kind of cute.... "I just moved here, and... Yeah."

He held his hand out to me. I grabbed it, and he pulled me up.

'Man, his hands are HUGE!!' I thought. And of course, he was incredibly tall. Compared to me, at least.

I've always been short. At 17 years old I was only 5'1. My hands were also tiny. When me and Riley were younger, we used to joke about my 'baby hands.'

"Are you okay?" the boy asked. Now that I was a little closer, I could see that his eyes were a hazel greenish color, maybe even brownish?

His eyes were so COMPLICATED, but they were gorgeous.

"Yeah. I'm fine." I said, smiling politely. I was trying so hard to stop staring at his eyes.

He bent down and picked up a few papers. I bent down and picked some up as well.

"I'm Ashton Irwin." the boy said, handing me some papers.

"My name is Harper Carson." I replied.

"I like your name." Ashton said. "It's unique."

Wow. Usually I hate my name.

"Well, I'm a unique person." I said, waddling around like Kirby.

Ashton laughed, and I hoped that I hadn't just embarrassed myself.

But Ashton started waddling around with me.

"TO MATH CLASS!!!!" I exclaimed, pointing to the hallway that led to the classroom and waddling towards it, ignoring the stares from the other people.

"YAAAAY we're in the same math class!" Ashton exclaimed, waddling after me.

Good. He's a senior. I thought he was a lost college student.

The bell rang JUST as we got into the classroom.

"It isn't a party until Ashton Irwin arrives!" Ashton exclaimed.

The whole class groaned.

I giggled. I was warming up to this Ashton guy.

We sat down, and the teacher went over the rules.

I decided to take this opportunity to ask where to sign up for the swim team.

I went to the gym, and sure enough, there was a HUGE pool on the other side of it.

A lady came up to me. "May I help you?" she asked.

"Yea, I just wanted to know where I could sign up for the swim team?" I asked.

The lady smiled. "You're at the right place! Follow me!" she led me to a small room that was probably her office.

She handed me a clipboard with a sign up sheet on it. It asked my birthday, grade, weight, height, etc.

Then I saw something that I couldn't help but groan at. I had to get an athletic physical.
