Draco
I looked around the Great Hall as Hermione and I sat down; we were consumed with nervousness, shock, and paleness as we plopped into our seats. 'We have to share an apartment... By Merlin's beard!'
Blaise gave me the, 'Good job! You got her!' approved look to the stern, 'Don't fuck it up!' look. I nodded and after the feast appeared and began to eat. Pansy snorted and glared at the other students who gave shocked looks or glares or sad remorseful looks at me.
"Damn young lings, Blood Traitors and Mudbloods. They disgust me. It makes me sick they chose the Mudblood instead of a Pureblood. Like Astoria Greengrass or Lucia Storm."
I'm glad Pansy and I, finally, had seen it better as friends. She was too clingy for me and not my type. She and Blaise had found their interest in each other, so I gave them their space. Now all I have is time, and too much of it.
I glance at Hermione, staring at me. She quickly looked away blushing and eyes wide. "Well Pansy, if we can make peace so should we with Potter and Weaseley. Even Granger. It only seems fair." Blaise nodded, but his mouth was full. Pansy grunted in agreement.
"Okay, okay. I'll make peace." She nodded. She smiled. "Maybe make new friend or three."
"We smiled, Blaise and I shook hands. We were setting things right.

Hermione
I was shocked. I was to room with Draco Malfoy. This had to be the worse thing since the war. I looked over at him he seemed as shocked but not mad. He seemed at peace with the decision, like he wanted to make peace. Like to make peace and move forward.
Ron was ranting and raving, furious that I was to room with a Death Eater. But from a letter to the Ministry of Magic from Narcissa Malfoy confirmed that his father put an him under the Imperious Curse up until Draco's 7th year.
"I can't believe you are rooming with a Death Eater. A murderer 'Mione-" I cut him off with a slap across his face. He really wonders why he and I are not togetger. I have to admit on a side note, it was a great kiss, but I couldn't see myself with Ron. We are best friends, practically siblings, I just couldn't see myself as his girlfriend, let alone his wife.
"Ronald Weaseley. Draco Malfoy is not a murderer. May I remind you that at the Malfoy Manor he saved our skins not identifying Harry. Then Dobby gave his life to help us escape. So tell me again he is a murderer." My nostrils flared as my stony look turned menouscing.
Harry shook his head from the corner of my eye and looked at Draco, Pansy and Blaise. My features softened as I looked at the trio head out way. Faces covered in nervous smiles and worry lines. "Blaise, Pansy, Draco," Harry said calmly. "We are wanting to make a truce, a peace making."
They nodded. "We were just discussing this too. I hope that was alright considering we will see each other every day until graduation." Draco said, giving me a weak smile.
I smile back meekly, nodding in agreement. "Harry?"
"I agree." He smiled, shaking hands with Blaise and Pansy. Draco looked at his, shaking his hand strong but nervous. "Truce."
Draco smiled, nodding, "Truce."
Ron sighed. "Fine, I give. Truce." He said defeated, shaking all their hands. "Truce."
I smiled at Blaise and Pansy, shaking their hands warmly. "I make amends." I turned to Draco smiling warmly but nervously. I took his large warm hand in mine. "Truce."
"Truce." He said, smiling nervous, but sincere.
'Maybe things won't be so bad. Maybe things will turn for the best.' I thought to myself.
