Hermione's perspective
When Draco asked me if I wanted to stay, I had doubts. What if he just wants to touch me again? I'm starting to trust him, slowly, because it was kind of him to let me stay in such a rough predicament; but after what happened last night, I'm not sure if is just being kind. I look at the back of his neck and he puts the television on. I sigh as I take out the book I was reading yesterday. I've always loved reading; it's taken me to places I've dreamed of going. It's almost real when I read.
" which book is it this time, Granger?"
I hear Malfoy say.
" Henry Sotter by J.P growling" I say,
" it's about this Muggle guy who tries to fight off the president"
He shrugs.
" don't you have work?" I ask him.
He shakes his head.
" I'm still in the works of finding one at the ministry" he explains.
" you're 23 and don't have a job?" I chuckle.
" what about you, since you seem to love work?" He asks. He gets me thinking.
I forgot about work.
" I work at St.Mungo's hospital".
He nods as he eats toast.
His phone then rings.
" Pansy?" I ask.
" yep. She told me to buy candy at Diagon Alley. Wanna come?" He asks me.
I grin and say yes.
I take his arm and we apparate to our destination.A/N
