Louis' POV-
Nicole didn't come home last night and to say the least I was angry!
Although she did text me at around seven saying she and Raylin were at Harry's flat, it didn't change the fact that she never came home.
I wouldn't of really cared, if it weren't the first night in our new house...
I sighed as I sat down on the newly purchased couch that Nicole had picked out, as I pulled out my phone I rolled my eyes when I saw no new messages or calls...
I decided to break the ice and just call her, I dialed her number and it rang a few times before her voice chirped through the phone making me feel some sort of relief.
"Nicole?" I asked hearing what sounded like a television in the background
"Yeah Lou what's up?" She replied, not even acknowledging the fact that she never came home.
"Don't yeah Lou me, Nicole." I groaned annoyed that she didn't even act like she cared
"What's going on with you?" She questioned, I once again rolled my eyes at her somewhat stupid question.
"I texted you several times stating that all the furniture was in the new house and that we could sleep there tonight, but you never replied" I explained, a growing fury building inside me
"Oh Louis..." Nicole sighed, "I'm so sorry, it's just we were at Harry's flat and he said he would take care of Raylin for the night so I fell asleep on his couch. Forgive me baby"
"You could make it up to me by actually coming home" I laughed, I understand that she's tired and I honestly would of done the same thing if someone like Harry offered to take care of her for the night.
"Okay I'll get Ray and we will be there in 10, how's everything looking?" She asked sounding genuinely curious
"Well obviously we need to decorate, but other than that it looks great!" I exclaimed happy to finally have our own house.
"I'm excited to see it baby, we will be there soon okay?"
"Okay, I love you Nicole" I smiled even though she couldn't see it
"I love you so much Lou" she chuckled
"Alright babe, drive safe see you" I said before clicking the end button.
Honestly I was happy that we weren't fighting, after having Raylin it's been hard to fight with her because I know she's tired. I mean we both are so whenever we argue it's mostly the exhaustion speaking not us.
I was brought out of my thoughts as my phone began ringing again, I picked it up to read the name
Lottie
I answered it saying a quick hello
"Hey Lou" she exclaimed, I laughed at her excitement.
"What's up Lots?" I smiled, adjusting my body so I'm laying down.
"Mom wanted me to tell you that we're going to be staying at one of her friends houses for a day or two."
"Okay, that means we will only have one day to spend together before you guys leave" I groan, wishing I could spend more time with my family
"We will make sure it's the best day yet, I promise" she cheered making me smile, she always did know what to say to make me feel better
"Thanks love, I better get going I have a lot of unpacking and things to do. I want to have most of this stuff unpacked by the time you girls arrive" I explained
"Okay bye Lou, kisses from all of us" she replied hanging up, I sighed and sat up putting my phone on the coffee table
I looked around mine and Nicole's newly bought house and was in awe of how beautiful it was, although it was bigger than most modern day families it was home. I couldn't wait to watch our baby girl grow up here, making memories that we can always look back on and smile about.
I decided it would probably be best if I began unpacking at least one box, I walked over to the huge stack of at least one hundred large boxes and picked one that didn't look too full.
I carried it over to the carpet and plopped down beside the box, opening it to reveal what looked like photos and albums. I picked up a stack of pictures that looked freshly developed and began scanning through them.
After a few pictures of Nicole and her mother and father I finally came across a picture of me and her, she was making a funny face while I kissed her cheek. It made me smile at how fast our relationship developed, yes I know it was sudden but I wouldn't change a thing.
"Louis were home" a familiar girly voice called, I stood up and practically ran over to her
"Hi baby" I cooed looking at a wide awake Raylin on Nicole's hip
"Well hello to you too" Nicole laughed, handing me my baby girl
"Hi beautiful" I chuckled kissing her quickly on the lips
"I'm going to go look around, I'm really excited to see everything" she blurted out making me smirk at her excitement
"Go have a look, I'll watch Ray"
