Silent Tears (Short Story)

**Things might change from here on out. I've been away for so long I've forgotten how to speak a bit but, I hope you'll still enjoy it. This isn't part of the story just so you know. All of this is raw. So there will be mistakes, sorry. I hope you'll enjoy reading.**

Joey's POV---

Lying on his bed and closing his eyes. He sighed. Another day of hard work he thought. His dad was as abusive as always, even covering up the scares is hard enough for Joey. Thinking back to a time, when the all great Seto Kaiba was actually nice to Joey. Tears start to fall down his face. "Why am I crying??" He asked himself half angry and half sad. He fell asleep with his thoughts all mixed up.

The next day. Joey woke up earlier today than usual due to his dad coming home and making so much noise. So, he decided to get ready for school. As quietly as he could Joey sneaked out the front door without his dad noticing. A sigh of relief. He had walked to Yugi's place. "Oh! What are you doing here so early?" Yugi asked surprisingly. "Well. I just woke up early! That's all." Joey answered nervously. "If you say so! Just give me a second. I'll be out in a bit." Yugi said chearfully as he closed the door. Joey leaned against the wall as he waits. Looking up towards the park he saw Seto Kaiba driving by instead. Now Joey was thinking he's simply imagining things. It was until the car stopped to turn the corner. At that moment he saw Kaiba he was reminded of the time Kaiba was nice to him. He knew he shouldn't have let his guard down. Yugi interupted by opening the door. They went to school together, and on time this time. School has started and Joey was daydreaming this time. Though he snapped out of it very quickly. Not long after the lunch bell rang. Joey, went to see his friends in the cafeteria. The school day had ended quickly. It went by in a blink of an eye. Joey was hanging out with his friends as usual. Eveything was great. Then the time has come for Joey to go home. He slowly opened the door to see if his dad was home. It seems that he was. Now Joey is getting beaten up and blamed. He was then kicked out of the house. Joey went to the park to take his rest there. He sat under a tree, and thought. For what felt like hours his mind was blank he couldn't think at all. Then, a tear rolled down his cheak. No matter how much he wanted to shout he didn't want to wake up the neighbours. So he stayed silent while crying. Until he heard Seto say something. "What are you doing. Mutt." Kaiba asked so coldly. Startled Joey stood up and wiped his tears. "...nothin." with that Joey turned and started to run but Kaiba had grabbed his wrisk. "Those tears don't lie. It obviously wasn't nothing." He said as coldly as before, though it felt a bit warmer. "Why would you care?!" Joey almost yelled. He forcefully got out of Kaiba's grip, but was pinned down on the tree. "Heh. You're my pup. Of course." Kaiba said with piercing cold eyes that stare deep into Joey's eyes. "..!?..." Joey had no words to say. It had felt like time had stopped. "I'M NOT YOUR-" Joey almost yelled but was stopped by Seto.

**For the last bit you can imagine whatever you like. Now, I might not update in this book much because well, I'm still not done searching for him. I need some time to find him so I'm sorry.
