Story Mode - The Wrong Decisions were actually the right one(Real Ending 1)

I was occupied by the silence in my room. The heavy aura that surrounds me and the tension that was building up between me and this keypad that can lead me to finish the life of one of my friends.

I was left speechless, afraid. I was left in awe of what will happen once I write down the name of the person I choose... I was scared... I don't know what my childhood friend would think once I chose him.

Shu...

'Time is ticking...'Orochi said on the group chat. His rather undaunted demeanor that costs him to create such game is what brought some of my friends to perish in an unexplainable way.

Tears started streaming down my cheeks, my body felt weak from even typing the first letter of his name. My phone almost slip from my fingers, my hands were shaking and I cannot contain the heavy aura that surrounds me and this stupid game.

'Valt... Choose me...'Shu begged. From that single message I can hear every emotion that his putting in to write that  down. He doesn't wanna die, He doesn't wanna end his life in that way but he is doing it for the sake of Ken and I...

'Valt any minute now~' Orochi was making me more and more frustrated, as well as vulnerable from having mental breakdown.

As he kept on spamming the group chat with the same sentence as before, I was forced to quickly send the name that I really don't wanna send by accidentally clicking that send button.

'Shu~?' Orochi seems to be mocking my decision. Rather he seems to be happy that I chose him.

'Aha.. Valt... Thank you.'Shu finally replied on the group chat.

Tears kept streaming down my cheeks, I kept cursing Orochi's name. Saying how stupid he is, how pathetic he is for making such game to seek revenge.

'You're a coward Orochi.'I typed down on the keyboard, sending it quickly while typing more and more mocking on the keyboard to annoy this little ....

'Valt, I have a plan.'Shu says via private message. 'Valt I know you're crying right now... But I won't let myself get separated from you again. We'll start again... With Ken..'

What does he meant by that..? Our friends died, everyone except Ken and Him had died. How can everything be normal in the end? How can I stomach the pain that will stay attached on my chest till the day I die.

I didn't get to reply to Shu, rather I just stared at his message not knowing what emotion to express, what facial expression should I give.

Sadness. I'm certain it is that one. No... Frustration?... Most certainly not because my tears were gradually stopping, then streaming once again without my consent.

"Arghhh! Stupid stupid stupid! What's happening to you Valt? Why Are you being so emotionless?!"I punched the wall with all my strength until I heard my bones crack or something. Blood stained the wall and a slight crack were visible on it.

"Oww oww... Oww.. Why did you do that... Oww..."I kept on shaking my hands. It felt like my bones escaped from its muscles... It hurts...!

I tried to lock my attention on the group chat so I could avoid thinking about this pain I am experiencing right now... But the group chat remained silent. Ken didn't even bother sending a proper message but rather he just kept spamming the group chat with Pusheen stickers.

Orochi and Shu wasn't even replying, nor bother seening Ken's spam attempts. I was worried about Shu, but at the same time I was intrigued about Orochi's condition since Shu just said that he had a plan...

'What do you think happened...?'Ken says via the group chat. He sent random emojis and Pusheen stickers that are crying. 'There's no signal that the game was over or Shu was annihilated.'

I tried to reply to Ken's message even though my ands are shaking. The phone screen was filled with droplets of tears that made it hard to type down the words I wanted to type. 'We have to wait.'

I bit my lower lip out of frustration. I exit the group chat then switched to Shu's private message. He was active 56 seconds ago.

'Shu.' I simply typed down his name just to call out his attention or create a ringing sound on his phone. I waited for a few seconds for him to be Active Now but it seems like he won't be logging in for at least 2 reasons...

Orochi had killed him, or he is still hiding from him. My fingers are crossed for the 'he is still hiding from him.' Option.

Waiting....

Waiting...

Heart, pounding loudly.

Panicking...

Then dead silence...

'Valt.' My phone started to make a ringing tone when a message from Shu was received,'Hi...'

'The Game is Over... You can now live a normal life or whatever you guys want. In the end, everything will be worthless anyway. In the end you guys will suffer death. And in the end, the four of us will meet in Hell.' A notification from the group chat...

My sadness quickly shifted into a smile on my face. Shu's plan actually worked... But I still don't know what his plan is. Should I ask him? Maybe not... What's important is that we are saved and free from the game.

'Boy.. Shu.. What's the meaning of this?'Ken suddenly sent on the group chat.

'Things doesn't have to end in a bad way... Sometimes, You have to work hard to get the ending you desire. In the end, it's not worthless. In the end, we can all be happy.'Shu says wholeheartedly on the group chat.

I wiped my tears, typing every bit of thank you as a spam of appreciation for what Shu had done. He didn't just let his self die, but he also saved us from this horrible game.

For the least...

'Hey, Let's meet by the park shall we?'Shu insisted,'I have to show you something.'

'Err. Okay okay'Ken replied, while I did the same reply as well.

Well... I don't know if I can mark this as happy ending.. But... I'm happy Shu's alive...

For now...

I heaved out a sigh, pulling out a knife on the kitchen table. Knowing that something ain't right. That is his body, that's his fingers touching the phone. But...

That is not Shu.
