"My parents are very excited for the marriage. I never thought my sister will would be marrying the rightful heir to the throne", said Kieran, one hand slipped behind his back ,another gripping my waist.
Though through his eyes, told a different story.
We were sitting on the emerald pastures of Heavenly Hills . I could not believe I had flew this far to meet him, the palace looked so small from here like a tiny golden speck in the horizon.
"I also never thought I will be marrying your sister too, Kieran", I replied.
Kieran only gave a small smile, revealing a perfect row of white teeth.
His hair was surprisingly midnight black, back in Frost Fire ,his birthplace and the second largest city in Faerieland also known as Winter, his hair would have been silver -white like the frosted tundras within the mountainous landscape.
His sky-blue eyes startling light grey and his tan skin marble white, he was such a typical Frost fey blending in with their surroundings or seasons.
"Shall we revise it one more time?", he asked.
"Me and you, together as one. Let our love shine like the Sun",recited Kieran letting his power flow through his gauntlets, it was the very same poem I had once wrote a few weeks before the Blood Moon when I was told to propose to his sister princess Dahlia , it's not like we had a choice to refuse .
That decision was made by my ancestor Celestia a millions years back from now she had written it down one of the pages of the most sacred book called The Book of Prophecies it stated that the son of the 100th Golden Fey shall marry the true heir of the throne of Frost Fire.
And I was the only child born from the Golden Fey before Thorn, my little mischievous brother , was born from Rosemaria , my mother.
But nobody was allowed to call her by her name even by her own family considering me also , and I couldn't call her mother also.
Being a Golden Fey had many saddening limits which made the Fey Folk aloof and detached from showing any emotion.
But it was different when you were born into royalty like after your coronation you are expected to make an oath that you will give the realm a daughter or son who will be able to continue the Golden Fey bloodline.
And not only is it very hard to for a female Fey to get pregnant which would take many years after trying to finally bear a child.
That it why they prefer to plant faeries in seeds, but the problem is that the seedling can bloom in any seasonal lands of Faery ,so what I mean is that it is rare for a seedling to bloom as a Golden Fey . The law prefers that the female Fey gives birth instead of planting seedlings to make sure the child is born gentry.
"Peony these days you seem distance, it's like I don't know you" said Kieran softly berely a whisper but I heard him.
" Kier , you don't know what's it like. I mean marry your sister you takes our friendship to a whole new level" I said .
"So you don't want to marry my sister, huh?" Kieran asked staring directly at my eyes , I couldn't move my gaze from his piercing sapphire blue eyes , my body froze motionless .
Damn! he hypnotized me into not moving , Frost Faeries were so good at getting people to tell the truth all they had to do was to stare hard at someone for a long time.
It was very easy to get stuck in their trap because they had the most beautiful eyes and features but not compared to a Golden Fey.
Golden Fey were the most beautiful type of Faery forever known for their angelic beauty.
