Richie has a gf named Sarah. They have been dating for two weeks now, and Eddie was pissed and jealous. He has love Richie since Kindergarten(read More Than Friends to see backstory). Richie was still friends with the losers, but he hung out with Sarah waaaay more than them. So one day, the losers were spending the night at Bill's. "WHERE THE FUCK IS RICHIE?! I MEAN I'M PROUD HE HAS A GIRLFRIEND BUT IT SEEMS LIKE HE HATES US NOW!!!!" Bev nearly screamed. "Bev calm down! I'll text him," Eddie said. "Thank you," Bev replied with relief. Eddie nodded and pulled out his phone.

EddieSpaghetti🍝: RICHIE! I thought you said you were coming to the sleepover at Bill's house!!

Trashmouth👅: I'm busy rn.

EddieSpaghetti🍝: YOU PROMISED FOR ME.

Trashmouth👅: Ik ik.

Trashmouth👅: No I'm not. I might be a little late to the sleepover.

Eddie smiled and turned off his phone. "He's coming. He said he'll be a little late," He said. A few minutes later, Richie came bursting through the door with a plastic bag. "AYYO LOSERS!" Richie exclaimed. "YOU MADE IT, YOU REALLY MADE IT!" Eddie squeaked and hopped up, and  hugged Richie. "I told you I'd make it for you," Richie said. "What's in the bag? And why weren't you hanging out with Sarah?" Eddie asked. "Oh right!" Richie smiled and pulled out a baby blue and pastel pink flower crown. He set it on Eddie's head and smiled. "I LOVE IT!" Eddie yelled. "Aww," Bev said and put her hands on her heart. Richie Sat down with the losers.

"So why weren't you hanging out with Sarah?" Ben asked. "Oh um.... We broke up. She said she hated me and realized she loved someone else. After that she slapped me and stormed off. I remembered I was supposed to come here for a sleepover. I went to a flower field and started making Eddie a flower crown until I got I text from Eddie. I said I'd be late. After making the crown, I texted Sarah saying I was gay and that I loved someone else, too," Richie explained. "Are you gonna ask him out soon?" Stan asked. "I would, buuuuuuuut.......... I don't think he would like me anymore.... Like, ever. He's a great friend of mine, and he's so cute. I don't think he would like me anymore..." Richie explained with a frown. Eddie replied with, "WHO WOULDN'T LIKE YOU?" "Bowers," Richie said. "You know what I mean. And Rich, if it goes wrong, we are here to support you," Eddie smiled softly. Richie nodded.

THE NEXT DAY

"Welp, I gotta go. My mom probably wants me home," Eddie let out a nervous giggle. Richie smiled and replied, "I'll walk you!" "Okie dokie!" Eddie smiled. Richie and Eddie gathered their stuff and said their goodbyes. The two boys left without another word.

"Richie, I'm happy for you. Ask the boy you like out," Eddie smiled. "Okay," Richie said as he stopped walking. Eddie stopped as well and faced him. "What's wrong?" Eddie asked. Richie inhaled deeply and said, "Edward Kaspbrak...... Date me, please." Eddie's eyes widened and his mouth parted open slightly. "OH MY GOD RICHIE!!" Eddie squeaked. "Er.... You p-probably hate me now. I should-" "HATE YOU? WHY WOULD I HATE YOU?! RICHIE I HAVE LOVED YOU SINCE KINDERGARTEN!!!" Eddie shouted, cutting Richie off. "You have?" Richie said with surprise. "YES!!!" Eddie squealed. "Weeeeellll if we're dating.... Can I do this?" Richie asked as he pressed his lips against Eddie's. They kissed for 5 seconds and pulled away. "Yes," Eddie smiled. Eddie and Richie walked home, smiling like idiots.
