Depression part 2

"Fuck my mom is home.." Eddie huffed under his breath. Richie looked worried yet confused. "FAGGOT GET DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!!!" Sonia screamed. "Stay here..." Eddie demanded I'm a whisper before leaving. Richie looked terrified for his friend.

Eddie got downstairs. "Hello mama.." Eddie said. "WHO IS RICHARD?!" Sonia screamed in Eddie's face. Eddie flinched but said, "H-He's a friend, mama.."

SLAP

She hit him. "TELL ME THE TRUTH, EDWARD!!" She screamed. "I am mama... He's just a--" another slap. Eddie fell to the floor and trembled in fear. Sonia kicked Eddie's head, making Eddie fall to the ground and cry. "Not only are you a faggot, BUT YOUR WEAK AND A CRYBABY!!" She yelled before leaving the house.

Richie heard their conversation from upstairs. As soon as he heard the car leave he RAN down the stairs. Once downstairs, he sat next to Eddie. "E-E-Eds!!" He cried out. Eddie sat up and looked at Richie, still trembling in fear. Richie went to hug Eddie bit Eddie flinched slightly. "I won't hurt you.." With Richie's comforting words, Eddie hugged Richie and instantly started sobbing into Richie's shoulder. "Eds shh... I got you... Your safe now.. I'll protect you...." Richie cooed.

After about 25 minutes and crying and hugging, Eddie calmed down. "Can we go to the park..?" Eddie asked. Richie nodded and helped him up. The two walked to park, holding hands the entire way.
