Chara sighed as he sat on the girl's bed, watching her sleep. He couldn't think of anything else to do, he wanted to mess with Frisk more, but he wanted to do it slowly. So hence, he currently has nothing to do. He glanced at the clock on her wall, it read 2:47. He rolled his eyes, time seemed to be slower than a slug. He noticed that (y/n) shifted a little in her sleep. He smiled softly and moved some of her hair away from her face, enjoying the softness of it. Chara's fingers then lightly traced her lips. He wanted to kiss her, but he wanted their first kiss to happen when she's awake. Whether she wants to kiss him or not he couldn't care less, he just wanted her to be awake for it, so it burns in her memory forever. Chara pulled his hand away from her as an idea popped into his head. With a sadistic grin, he teleported out of her room and into another's.

Hours later, (y/n) woke up. With a yawn, she stretched her arms and legs. She sat up and rubbed her eyes, hoping that would help her see in her bright room. After a few moments, she got up and ready for the day. She left her room and headed to the kitchen, only to pause in the doorway as she looked at her mother sitting at the table, tears clearly falling from her eyes.

Worried, (y/n) asked "Mom? What's wrong?"

Her mother looked up at her. "Oh, baby, I'm so sorry." Her mom got up and rushed over to (y/n). She pulled the girl into a hug, muttering about being sorry.

"Mom, what's going on?" (Y/n) asked, her voice shaking slightly. Her mother pulled away, not looking into her eyes.

"It's B-Becky... I don't know how to tell you this but..." Her mother paused for a moment and (y/n) had a bad feeling she knew what she was going to say. "She's gone baby, I'm so sorry. She's- she's dead. I'm sorry."

(Y/n) fell to her knees. Tears were pooling from her eyes but she didn't pay them any attention. She took a shaky breath and stood up.

"I-I'll be in m-my r-r-room if you need m-me." (Y/n) whispered before rushing into her bedroom and sitting on her bed after closing her door. For a quarter of an hour she had sat on her bed, staring at her hands as she mentally went through all the memories she had of Becky.

"What's wrong?" She heard Chara say beside her.

She looked into his eyes. "My, my friend died, she's gone..." She said softly and he held his arms open.

"Come here." He whispered. She then wrapped her own arms around him as he held her close, one arm pulling her against his body, his hand in her hair, while his other hand rubbed her back gently.

"Shh, it's alright, you're not alone." Chara smiled, "You have me now."

Frisk dropped the phone as his blood ran cold. Even though the phone was on the floor, he could still make out Sans's worried voice on the phone. A moment later, Frisk picked up the phone and told Sans he'd talk to him later. Not waiting for a response, Frisk hung up and ran out his house. The only thing he could think of was her. Was she okay? Did Chara do something to her? Did she know about her friend's death? Some many questions, not a single one had an answer to them yet. The moment he reached her house, he knocked several times and took a deep breath. (Y/n)'s mother opened the door.

"You're Frisk right?" She asked and he nodded.

"Thanks for coming, she really needs someone right now. I'm about to go get her a present, so could you keep an eye on her to make sure she's okay?" Again, he nodded.

"Thank you." She left and he entered the house, closing the door and instantly headed for her room. He froze when he opened the door. Chara sat on the bed with (y/n) laying her head on his lap while the rest of her was covering the bed.

Frisk narrowed his eyes. "What are you doing?" Frisk asked, hate dripping from his voice. Chara just giggled.

"Me? Oh, well, I was just sitting with my soon-to-be girlfriend." Chara tilted his head with a smile. "Got a problem with that?"

Frisk clenched his fists. "She isn't yours."

Chara's smile grew. "Maybe for now, but I don't think you have any right to act like she's yours either."

"You killed Becky, didn't you?" Frisk asked, ignoring Chara's last statement. Chara just nodded, still wearing a smile on his face.

Frisk's anger grew. "Why?! Why are you here? How are you here? Why are you suddenly killing people?"

Chara was quite for a moment before he bursted out laughing. It took him several minutes to calm down. When he did, his eyes focused on (y/n), who was still somehow sleeping.

"So many questions, and the ironic part is, they all have the same answer." He pointed downwards. "Her."
Frisk's eyes landed on (y/n) before landing back onto Chara, who was still looking at (y/n).

"She's the one isn't she? The one you were talking about the other night?"

Chara looked back at Frisk and gave him a quick, closed eyed smile. "Yup!" Suddenly, Chara's eyes turned black. "And she's all mine."

An hour later, (y/n) woke up alone in her bed. She didn't want to get up, but her stomach reminded her that she hadn't had anything to eat all day. So she got up and lazily made her way into the kitchen, but she was pretty shocked to see who was sitting at the table. Chara smiled at her and Frisk gave her a look of concern, before getting up and walking over to her. He wrapped his arms around (y/n) and lightly nuzzled his face in her hair.

"I'm sorry about Becky..." He whispered, sounding a bit off but she assumed that was because his face was in your hair. (Y/n) didn't say anything as you returned his hug and let the tears fall from her eyes.
