The Oujia Board

The Oujia Board is a game where you can talk to a spirit or a demon. I own one and have only played it twice. The first time I had no issues , nothing really creepy happened. It was really interesting to experience.

But the second time wasn't as fun , not at all. I played it yesterday  (being my second time) I had my friend over and my mom wanted to play as well. My sister left the room as we got everything started. You know ,lighting candles, clearing our minds, and getting the board out. I have mentioned in my previous chapters that I'm having a bit of a problem with a spirit /demon right now. So I thought if I could speak to a spirit or a demon about what is going on I think I could get help. Once I had everything together we sat on the floor and put the board in front of us.

We move the planchette in circles and say "is there any spirits that would like to speak with us". We did this about 3 times ,then we stopped. It slowly creeped over to "yes". I got so excited ,but that excitement didn't last long. I asked it simple questions like "how old are you" , "are you from America"(Idk why I asked this ) , and ect... But then we stopped asking questions just for a moment and it started moving. It went to "H..." Then stopped, it then moved to "E..." ,after that it went to "L...", and finally it went to "P...". Now at first I was thinking "oh shit , it's gonna say hell" but it said "help" . So I looked at my friend,  she looks at me , and then I look at my mom . We pretty much kept on exchanging glances, until it moved again. It said "6...Cur..." , i don't know what this means but i didn't ask. It then moved to " 5...D", I still didn't know what that meant.  So instead of me asking for it's name I asked for it's initial to its first name. I felt burning hot and then ice cold. The planchette moved to "T...". And I started to shake. Idk why, I started to feel terrified. I thought about Tominos poem , the initial "T" is the same as the demon tomino. I thought about this for a moment. Then I got my head back in focus. The planchette then slowly started to move from "9...8...7..6..5.." then I said goodbye. I have researched on what some things mean on the oujia board. One thing is if it started to count backwards it means trying to leave through the person, and leave the oujia board, which can cause possession. So I was like "nope,nope. I ain't doing that" .

So we take our fingers off of the planchette. After a brief discussion,  we decided to play again. So after us doing the circle and changing thing for one time, it quickly went to "yes" , which I'm thinking "Oh god, that's fast". I asked the question "Are you the spirit from eariler?". It went to "yes" , I personally found it scary as hell about how fast it moved. Of course I ask the next question "were you trying to leave the board through us?" It moved around in a circle and then darted to "yes". It quickly went to "9...8...". As soon as I saw this I moved it to "goodbye ", and honestly it was hard to move it.

So I was thinking about everything that had happened.  When it said "6...Cur...", it made me think. What if it was saying 6 letters,  the first 3 are Cur. And I thought of one word that would be that. Cursed. It said "5...D "so it could have meant "death" or "demon". Idk what to do, I'm scared that I might have just encountered tomino himself.
