Eduardo, Jon, and Mark we're startled from browsing channels when a loud BOOM sounded from outside. Eduardo groaned, rubbing his temples.
"Damn. What is it this time?" He muttered to himself, standing up. He motioned his two lackeys, heading to the door. Eduardo burst outside with a scowl on his face. "Hey!" He shouted, looking around, "What's all the racket?"
Jon peered around Eduardo's shoulder, eyes wide as he stared up at something he never thought he'd ever see. A giant, red robot stood before them. A compartment in its chest opened with sounds Jon had only heard in movies. In the compartment, though, lied three projectiles he was very familiar with. And the robot had decided to fire one directly at them!
"Uh, that's not a racket," Jon stated simply, "it's a rocket."
Quickly, the three men jumped out of its way, leaving their house to be destroyed. The three let out a breath, relieved that they had escaped. They watched the exchange between their neighbors and the man operating the robot. Another rocket was fired, and this time, one of them was not so lucky.
It all happened so fast for Jon. One minute he was fine, and the next...
A blinding white light was all he could see and fire filled his lungs as he was blasted back and onto his side. Dully, the brunette recognized he was in pain as he laid there, completely limp.
What just happened? He wondered, ears ringing.
He noticed people shouting and fighting as his vision faded in and out. Suddenly, he felt arms around him. He winced as it jolted a wound. Blinking a few times, he realized the arms we're attached to Eduardo.
"Jon? Jon?! Speak to me, buddy! Say something! Say something, you idiot!" The Latino cried, jostling Jon's battered body.
Jon blinked up at Eduardo, smiling. "Heh... Something.. Hehehe..."
Jon slumped against Eduardo's chest, eyes closing as he lost consciousness.
