Ch4 || A Failed Attempt

{ Eren POV }

"And now Eren Jaeger will try to jump through the top ring! That's the hight of a basketball hoop!" Erwin said.

The music got intense as I ran on the mat, jumping in the air and,

missing the ring.

"Ow! What the fuck?" I said rubbing my arm.

"Try again Eren." Marco kept saying over and over again. I did it the 3rd time I tried.

"Finally!" I said as I did a victory dance.

"Break time!" Erwin said as he went to talk to Armin about the music. I went with Jean, and Annie in the trailer and went to make a sandwich.

"Want one?" I asked. They nodded eagerly .

"Thanks Eren. You're like the mom of this place." Annie said smiling, then sitting on the couch.

I blushed and said,

"Well I did live with my mom for a long time, so guess I learned from her."

I sat down next to her. It was al quiet then all you hear is

CHOMP

CRUNCH

CHOMP

CRUNCH

Jean was eating chips interrupting to once was, a quiet lunch.

~ Time Skip (9:00 In The Trailer)~

"It's pouring outside!" Levi yelled, bursting the door open, dripping wet.

"Are you alright?!" I asked as I grabbed him a towel.

"Yes." he grumbled.

"We're watching a movie, so when you dry off you can maybe join?" I asked nervously.

"Maybe."

He grabbed his pajamas and hurried into the bathroom. I sighed and fixed a late dinner for everyone. On our way to a new destination, we stop, practice, then the next day off. On our days off, we stay up late.

"Dinners ready!" I yelled.

"Finally!" Jean said, pushing Annie out of the way.

"Fuck you."

I smiled at their childish actions and handed them their dinner.

There was one plate left for Levi.

"Levi. Aren't you gonna eat?" I asked. He shook his head and I looked down sadly.

He never tried my meals and this was my chance to show him.

"She's my ex. She said if anyone interfered or got in her way, she would kill them. Not literally."

"Then I'll make sure not to get in the way." I nodded.

"Hellooo! Eren?!" Jean said waving his hand in front of my face.

"Huh?" I asked.

"You've been standing there for 5 minutes, just staring off into space."

I blushed and finished my dinner as fast as I could and washed the dishes.

I put Levi's plate in the fridge after sealing it up.

"You really are the mother!" Jean said looking back at me. I smiled and took a seat next to him, watching Howel's Moving Castle.
