Y/N rested her head to her knuckles listening to the meeting being held at Montgomery De La Cruz's company in Seattle. Even if she didn't want to go she had to, She was forced to go by her parents because somehow their company needed more suppliers for their project. Y/N didn't want to go because she and Monty had a rough past, they were together for five years until they had to brake it off They said they ran out of love for each other getting caught up on work with their parents, but was it really the reason? Even after what happened they know deep inside them that they still love each other they're just afraid to do something about it.

The meeting ended fast, and we've already consent to some negotiations and compromises so I think we're progressing rapidly rather than before. I stood up from my seat and shook hands with everybody. They all got outside except for one person, I didn't bother to look and got a call from my mother. I quickly answered it.
"hey, Honey how was the meeting?" "Any progress?" My mom asked.
"Yes, I guess it was better than before, I'll just discuss it with you there" I told her.
"Oh and by the way, your friends Jessica, Justin, and Zach are here you might want to go home earlier" She said
"Yeah, I'm going and tell Zach I need the files for next week" I told her.
"Honey, don't you think you work a lot?" "You should have a vacation soon" She said, I sighed.
"Mom, we've talked about this I just can't skip work" I told her
"You can, you're the CEO now" She said.
"Am I?" I asked her.
"You are Honey you can do what ever you want, maybe you should just reschedule or ask someone else to substitute for you, you need this vacation Y/N you should relax a bit go somewhere for a whole week" She said.
"Fine, I guess"I told her.
"Goodbye now"
"Goodbye" I breathe, I guess she's right, I haven't got a day where I just needed to relax. I've never had that day for three years now. I sighed picking up my coat and my bag heading out the doorway but I was stopped by someone calling my name. I looked back inside and saw him, Monty. The guy that I used to love for five years. I see that he's changed Physically, you can see his muscles through his white long sleeved shirt. And he has been taller since the last I saw him.
"Mr. De La Cruz" I said, He walked towards me.
"Y/N, don't act like we didn't have a history" He said, there it is again his eyes that made me fall in love with him every time I looked at it. There's something about him that's very irresistible, every time he's just around me I just can't help myself, I always end up staring at him admiring his gorgeous features. But that, I used to do...I just can't do the whole relationship thing anymore. I broke up with him because he cheated on me, he was too caught up with work. We didn't even bother to call each other or make an effort to see each other, and to be honest I am still hurt of what happened three years ago.
"Oh uh yeah, ofcourse" I managed to blurt out, trying not to look at his eyes.
"I haven't seen you in three years, Y/N I hope we get to catch up soon" He said, putting his hands behind him on the glass table leaning back looking at me.
"Yeah, Considering we're business partners now I guess we'd spend more time together right?" I told him smiling, shit Y/N what happened to you? No! I can't fall in love with him all over again.
"Yeah we are, how about I take you out tomorrow?" he asked me, standing up.
"As?" I asked, thinking of the first time he asked me out eight years ago. it was exactly the same lines.
