Graduation

Amber pov:
Calm down, calm down. It's just a graduation, no need for you to let your anxiety get the better of you. I sighed shakily and looked at my boyfriend laughing and talking happily with the boys in our class at a bunch of desks. I saw the teacher walking up to my desk and she put my report card on the desk I was sitting on. I picked it up and slowly looked at it.

I actually passed

"I'm going to 8th grade!!!" I shouted happily, hearing a laugh from my boyfriend. I don't exactly have the best grades so I'm shocked I passed but I'm glad. I would've got pretty upset if I didn't pass. I just played on my phone for the time being until we started to walk to the gym. After I walked in, I felt a hand grip mine. I looked over and saw Y/n, he smiled sweetly after catching me looking. I smiled back and noticed a guy with E/c eyes and black hair with a woman with green eyes and H/c hair (if your eyes are green or your hair is black, you can change it if you like).

They were looking at me. Were they Y/n's parents? Did they know I'm his girlfriend? I exhaled letting the thoughts slip out of my mind as Y/n helped me sit in a chair. I was wearing a striped maxi dress and wedge like flip flops. I'm so nervous!

Y/n pov:
"Baby..." I whispered quiet catching ambers attention "you look beautiful" I whispered again, a smile starting to play my lips. Ambers face coated in a blush as our fingers intertwined and our hands rested on my leg. We kept our hands like this through the whole graduation and I kept looking over at my girlfriend, who was bouncing slightly in her seat with her anxiety kicking up. I squeezed her hand gently causing her to stop and look at me, I sent her a kind loving smile. They called my name for an award and I stood, letting go of Ambers hand in the process. I walked up to get my award and saw a flash from a camera 'Mom...' I thought smiling and taking the award, I shook hands with the teachers and stood with the others who had their awards.

I sat back down next to Amber and immediately our fingers were intertwined again. I didn't get anymore awards so we got to hold hands the rest of the time. I wasn't leaving right after the ceremony even though my parents were here. They were just gonna take pictures and come back then pick me up from car rider. I stood with Amber as soon as they said we could all leave and I saw my parents walking to us. Amber squeaked slightly and I chuckled at this. My mom immediately hugged me and my dad smiled, mine and Ambers fingers were still intertwined so my arm was tugged in Ambers direction when my mom hugged me.

Mom took notice of this and her eyes quickly darted to my girlfriend. A wide smile grew on my mom's face and she looked happy "Y/n is this your girlfriend?" She asked happily, I nodded in response and my dad looked over at Amber then smiled. "I'm M/n and this is my husband, F/n" My mom told Amber, earning a bit from the quiet girl "I'm Amber..." She spoke, her voice low. I chuckled at this and my dad did as well. My mom noticed how quiet and fidgety Amber was then got an idea. She quickly pulled out her camera 'Oh no....' I thought.

"I just want a few pictures!" Mom said, grinning brightly. I sighed and gave in. I wrapped my arms around Ambers waist and she wrapped hers around my stomach. Mom snapped a few pictures before my parents had to leave. Mom kissed my cheek and Ambers as well but my dad just messed up my hair and smiled at Amber. I sighed after they walked out and picked up Amber bridal style making her get flustered. I chuckled and started walking back to class but Amber stopped me seeing one of her close friends crying. Amber jumped down and rushed over then hayley explained why she was crying making Amber cry too. I hate to see my baby cry so I walked over and wrapped my arms around her.

She explained that hayley was moving and I just stayed with her through the rest of the day. In science, Amber was with Savannah and Miguel, drawing on our teachers whiteboard. When I looked at what Amber drew, I couldn't help but smile. She drew deku from boku no hero academia, her favorite anime. The phone rang and our teacher answered then said me and Amber were going home. We walked to the office hand in hand then she walked with her aunt and I walked with my parents. Before stepping into our cars, we shared a soft kiss and i wiped a few of her tears away telling her I would see her everyday of the summer. She smiled and we shared one last kiss then got in our cars.
