Take Out

Here I sit with boxes of take out eating it all by myself, Violet left for her date an hour ago while I cleaned her room then came out to the living room to eat. I put on The Wedding Planner which has got to be one of my favorite movies. Eating Kung Pao Chicken with rice, sipping on my coke, and watching a movie is how i plan to spend my whole weekend. This is what I would rather do then go out, except for going out to the movies because I love going to the movies.

Watching the movie, I'm in and out of sleep, deciding on calling it a night I turn the tv off and grab the boxes of food to throw away. I didn't manage to eat it all so I save some for Violet just in case she gets home hungry. Turning off the kitchen light I go to turn the light outside on so that Vi isn't left in the dark. Walking back to my room I make sure to leave the bathroom light on and door open, getting inside my room I close the door and throw my extra pillows on the floor. I groan climbing in my bed under the covers settling in. After twenty minutes I come to terms that I couldn't go back to sleep.

I'm distracted from today's earlier events, those green eyes staring me down. I've been a costumer at Romona's since I started at the school and not once have I seen him until today. What has me more shocked is the fact that something about him made me more intrigued to find out who he was. I thought about asking Romona but that just makes me a creep, so I decide that if I was meant to see him again then I would. And with that final thought I drift off.

*next morning*

I wake up to the smell of pancakes and instantly I'm running for the kitchen, seeing Violet making her famous chocolate chip pancakes with coffee ready. "Good Morning Ms. Fontaine, breakfast is served!" She gives a curtsy, giggling I grab a plate and serve myself pancakes. "Sorry I didn't stay up, I just knocked out it was an interesting day yesterday. But how was your date?! I want to hear everything."

Violet serves herself and sits next to me, "Well we went to eat then we walked around the square, he was really nice. He asked me out for another date and so I said yes!" Both of us squeal with delight, Violet like me, has had a hard time dating. She says because she just doesn't have time for guys who only want to fool around, which I agree with but I guess she thought now was a good time to start dating. Me, on the other hand, I'm having a difficult time and I guess afraid?

After breakfast we sit in the living room talking more about her date and how I saw that gorgeous man yesterday. She thinks that this might be my time to shine, "Luvia believe me it'll happen. This is the first I've heard of you interested in a guy since what sophomore year?" I nod my head but then shake it immediately, "I'm not going to get my hopes up, besides he looked like an angry typical businessman who looked like he could buy the whole block with the snap of his fingers. Being realistic, I probably won't ever see him again."

"This calls for some TLC from none other than Violet Riley herself. I make a good comfort buddy but cuddling will cost you extra." Vi stands there with open arms and I go over to hug her. "Believe me Luvia you will see him again, I feel as though this might be the start of something new."

With that we spent the whole day cleaning and organizing our apartment, then I got caught up with some paperwork, did some more research for our senior counseling sessions and then took a long shower. Violet went on her second date with Jake and said she would probably be home late so I'm going to watch some Netflix and see what I can find.

Spending about twenty minutes searching through every category I decide to watch The Carrie Diaries. I know you would think being 26 years old I wouldn't go for the romantic high school stuff, but I'm a romantic at heart who loves all things romantic. I've never experienced it before but hearing stories or just watching movies is just as amazing I guess. As soon as the show started I was automatically in love with the one and only Austin Butler. To say that boy is beautiful is an understatement. By the fifth episode I'm so exhausted that I just might sleep in the living room tonight.

-------

I hear shuffling around me followed by someone poking me opening my eyes I see Violet standing over me with a huge smile on her face, she's also dressed which causes me to panic as I get up pushing past her to my room. I grab my outfit for work and put my hair in an updo since I don't have time to do anything extra with it. "Luvia I've been trying to wake you up since last night, but then I just figured you were really tired so..."

"Ugh no it's fine I guess just all that research was intense I gotta go or else I'll  have a lot of explaining to do to the principal." Starting the day out with a bang!
